Longevity is Worth the Price
These strings are meant for the road, long jam sessions, and the long runs.Clear and bright for as long as they stay on.I play different styles: punk, rock, and metal with both pick and finger style and even through the sweat and dirt of many shows, these strings make it through.Learning jazz and classical works wonders with the bright and clear sound. It is a preference and leaves a lot to your instrument and amp.Besides the rare breakage (of ANY bass strings) and just treating yourself, there’s not many reasons to change these strings. The tone LASTS!If you’re gonna be the bassist that changes the strings once in a while, at least make it Elixir!LightweightFuncionalPlayable for hours and hours

Best Coated Bass Strings
I’m a regularly-gigging bassist for a classic rock band, and all of my basses are equipped with Elixir strings. They hold tone the longest, are smooth on the fingers, and make me a better player. If you doubt me, try a set and compare them to what you’re using. I use the SS ones on my Spector NS Ethos HP for a brighter tone, and the nickel ones on my Fender P/J, my five-string Yamaha, my Rickenbacker 4003, my Sire V10dx and my 1983 Guild Pilot. These strings are ~$40 a set (look for sales), but they are worth every penny if you’re serious about playing and want to sound good.

Low bottoms & crisp midst & highs
I am a fan of the brand & the sound is fenomenal as well as having extremely long playability. If you are looking for that growl & aggressive tone that you hear in jazz, funk, & other genres, these are the strings for you, they have warmth when you need or want, you can't go wrong with these quality strings

Great quality, delivery slow!
It took forever to come. But they’re the best strings in the market.

Insanely good for touring musicians
The price tag is capital S STEEP , for me anyways but they're beyond worth it ! After playing so many shows you're quite obviously going to be tired so maintenance doesn't take as much of a priority as it should , with these though? My strings are never not bright and like new ! These maintain their tuning and tone stability no matter what they're put through , I don't even have a guitar case , I use a gig bag and these are STILL in perfect condition. Using a stingray bass I need bright strings that will compliment the naturally bright tone of the guitar, and these have never disappointed. Always bright , always in tune , always smooth . I don't think I'll ever choose another brand for my bass strings.
