I have been wanting to buy something like this for a long time for our cereals. With a bit of research, I decided on these. They arrived well-packed and in perfect condition. It does claim that these are dishwasher safe. I hand-washed mine after I saw someone say theirs melted in the dishwasher. If you do try the dishwasher, I would put them on the top shelf.Some of our cereal boxes like Chex have been a little too tall to put on the lower shelf for my kids to reach and, since using these they now have access to the cereal, which saves me from always having to get it for them.These have also saved me time in checking the cereal boxes to see if we need to restock them. I looked at the measurements given for the bottoms of the containers not even thinking about the tops. They are much wider at the top and the containers don't all fit on the shelf they were planned for. Also, the lids on the spouts don't stay open for pouring so you need 2 hands to pour. The spout lids are a little difficult to open and the cereal gets bunched up at the spout when pouring.They do hold a lot- more than family size cereals and they seem sturdy and easy to clean.

I was just thinking about how well these have held up today, so thought I would write a review. I have had these for almost 5 years now, and they are still perfect. I use them to store pet food in mostly, and run them through the dishwasher. The seals are still perfect, they have not lost their shape, they have not discolored, and they’re worth every penny. I highly recommend them!

This summer I have had large numbers of ants all over my house. They've never been an issue for me but when I saw a couple in my pantry I knew it was time to start storing my items in plastic canisters. My mother used to do this when I lived with her. Don't know why I didn't continue when I moved out.My daughter loves cereal but the grocery stores by me don't sell small regular sized boxes. They only sell the family or large size boxes. Looking at the description, it seemed like it should fit but when I received the canisters, they seemed small. I put two unopened bags in and it fits perfect. (See pics)Also I buy 10lb bags of sugar. I don't believe it will fit in the canister so I would either need to double up or buy a bigger canister.The canisters are a heavyweight plastic which seems sturdy but it does take a little time to get the lids on. Once you align it, you'd be able to lock it on all sides. I am a little concerned with the pour spout. It doesn't lock into place. It has an airtight seal but it doesn't seem like it may last many years with multiple uses.The white pen that comes with isn't erasable so I will buy some black postits that I can change up if need be.For now, it satisfies my needs. I will review again after a few months.

You can stop now, these work great!Why I Love These:-I use these for cereal, and they fit a whole Family Sized box (24oz)-They look much nicer than a bunch of mixed-sized boxes all sitting on my counter-Dont have to worry about ripped or improperly folded plastic bags to keep cereal fresh-Keeps cereal fresh for a couple weeks (cereal doesn’t last long in my house so unsure how long exactly it will keep, but I haven’t had a problem with stale cereal since purchasing)-East to clean, I hand washed and air-dried before use-When not in use, they stack together wellCons:-They do have gaps down out the bottom when lined up together (see photo) but that’s not an issue for me-I am unsure how they do in the dishwasher, but they took a while to completely air-dry-They aren’t perfectly clear plastic, but that’s also not a big deal for meI seriously spent a couple hours reading through a ton of similar products, but these work perfectly for what I need. Holds a 20oz box of cereal perfectly. Ordered primarily for that purpose as my children have no interest in dealing a bag or box after use whatsoever. These make it easy to store and use various cereals, and for the money 6 of them in one package is pretty decent. We should have these quite a while.
