Replacement Keyboard for Dell Inspiron 13-7347 13-7348 13-7352 P57G 13-7353 13-7359, inspiron 15-7547 15-7548, XPS 13-9343 9350 9360 Laptop with Backlight US Layout

Good replacement keyboard for my Mom's old dell Inspiron 15 7579. Keys feel good and the backlighting works. Not an easy part to replace as you have to remove basically everything else in the laptop to get to the keyboard, it does not come out from the top. Took me about 1-2 hours going slow and careful, but I have a good deal of experience working on computers for myself and friends and family. If you have little to no experience with repairing stuff this would be a pretty advanced repair.

I installed this keyboard just fine, though it took me two tries because the connecting ribbons seem a bit tricky to set in tightly. After using it for a bit, I realized the "9" key is misprinted as a "0" key. It works fine, but, still, how did that happen? That's the only reason for four stars not five, though it's also only been a few days.

I bought this after two of my laptop's keys quit working. Just verify your computers model number to make sure it's the correct one. With the help of a good instruction video on YouTube, I was able to replace the keyboard and have it back up and running in about an hour. You'll just need some tiny Phillips head screw drivers... And a way to keep track of the screws! So happy my laptop is back at full functionality!

My original keyboard had 2 missing keys. The new keyboard I just installed has 13 non working keys. It looks good and feels good... it just does not work .DEL,6,7,y,uh,j,n,m and all 4 arrow keys.No backlit either.It was delivered over night, thats the reason I bought it.You have been warned it isnt worth taking the chance.

i almost give up with my computer and i search at amazon this keyboard works perfectly

Was a pain to get this thing installed in my wife's old computer since the dog decided to munch a few keys after clawing them out for whatever reason. The good news is, it work. But the overall feel of the keys is very poor. Since this was just a work-around to get the computer running again, I don't know if the issues will resolve over time or get worse.

It's a keyboard. Not much more to say. Works as described.
