Power Supply AC ADAPTER 12V 0.5A for LINKSYS AD12V

The cords on these adapters are about 3 feet in length, much shorter than the close to 6 feet of an original cable, in addition the metal on the plugs itself looks to be of a cheaper grade than stock cisco parts. I should note that I purchased 2 from this supplier. I have only used one at this point, when I went to install this in a brand new in box wrt54gl (that i had scavenged the adapter for previously for another client) it worked great, for 20 total minutes.Then it died.I haven't used the second one yet, but based on this I can't use it in a clients install. Bummer.

I was worry about purchasing this adapter at first because of the reviews. I haven't had a problem with it so far. It's been a week since I purchased the adapter and I must say its still going strong. The only bad thing about this adapter is that the length of the cord is much shorter than the original. Overall great product.

The length of the cable is SIGNIFICANTLY shorter than the original. This is a big problem as I've had to re-arrange the setup just to accommodate this. I've only just received the cable and it works fine, as I checked the ensure it was the right current rating required.

Bought this to replace the missing one for my old router, but when I tried it out the router didnt power on. Not sure if the router is broke from months of being tossed around, or if the new power supply is just garbage? Ill give it one star because I cant rate it reasonably without being sure which piece is broke or if they are just mismatched. I needed this for a linksys E1000 router from cisco.
