Bought for my son for something different to read over the summer. Cute book

This book is perfect for an early learner. My grandson is 5 and will soon be starting kindergarten. I was looking for simple books with rhymes and this book has both. He loves the silly story and he’s learning to recognize simple site words.

Love this summertime book with the ice cream truck making its rounds! What happens when you mix and stir and do it again? Ice cream soup! So we matched the ingredients in the book, and made our own!

My 5 year old loves this book. I especially ordered this for her because she has started to read and what better way to get them reading. It's a good quality with nice pictures and story.

Could be that my grandson loves to cook with grandma or it could be the whimsical illustrations. Could be the story itself. Could be all of these things. My 3 year old grandson absolutely loves the book and asks to have it read multiple times a day.
