I am only writing this review and hope so they will stop asking me to write a review every time I go to take a picture. I do like the camera it is a good camera I have no complaints other than the amount of times the app has asked me if I want to rate them

Camera quality is great and it is a great monitor for the most part. only issue I had with it was that the parent unit had to be connected to a charger all the time after a year use & the two way talking stoping working as well & sometimes it’ll go offline during nap time and it was usually a pain to get it to come back online.

DO NOT BUY VTECH BABY MONITORS - Here's why:My first VTech monitor (VM901) lasted about 1.5 years before the battery completely failed. The monitor would only work when plugged in, making it essentially useless as a portable monitor. I tried replacing the battery myself but found it was nearly impossible to access and replace. Eventually the monitor stopped working even when plugged in. Of course, this failure happened just after the 1-year warranty expired, leaving me without a functional monitor.Hoping it was just bad luck, I purchased a second VTech monitor (VM901HD) for $129.95. This one completely failed within just one month of purchase. The monitor stopped working entirely, leaving me without any way to monitor my toddler during sleep and naps.After the second monitor failed, I contacted VTech support and went through their troubleshooting process, but nothing worked. They directed me to fill out a warranty replacement form on their website. I submitted the form on Tuesday, May 27th, and their auto-response promised a reply within 1-2 business days.Six days passed with no response. As a parent without a functioning baby monitor for nearly a week, I was dealing with constant anxiety about my child's safety during sleep times. I finally called on Monday, June 2nd to follow up, and only then did they escalate my case.When VTech finally responded, their "solution" was insulting. Instead of replacing my $129.95 VM901HD with the same model, they offered to send me an RM5764HD—a different model that retails for only $119.95. So not only did I lose a week without a monitor, but they wanted to downgrade me to a cheaper model with no compensation for the inconvenience or safety concerns.The pattern here is clear:1. Poor build quality with non-replaceable batteries that fail quickly2. Customer service that's slow, unresponsive, and doesn't prioritize safety concerns3. A replacement policy that downgrades customers to cheaper productsMy Strong Recommendation: Choose ANY Other Brand.After two failed monitors and terrible customer service, I cannot recommend VTech baby monitors to any parent. Your child's safety is too important to risk on unreliable products backed by a company that doesn't stand behind what they sell.I have attached images of all 3 monitors.

Este producto lo recomiendo muchísimo ,puesto q a mi me ha echo la vida un poco más fácil ,puedo chequear a mis bebés mientras juegan oh duermen mientras q estoy en la cocina elaborando los alimentos ,los puede prevenir de una cauda en mi caso q duermen en la cama porq me avisa y puedo llegar a tiempo ,100 % recomendada

I got an open box VTech vm901hd camera set. The picture is clear day or night. Sounds is great ! Was easy to use plug and play concept. Everything works like it should with the notifications with the cry or noise. I give the camera 5 stars but the missing part 3 stars.The open box was missing the base ( bummer) to the camera and the monitor had some scuffes (monitor is fine with me with the scuffes). But I guess that is an open box problem with base missing.

We replaced our Owlet cam 2 with this and are SO much happier. The quality is better, the relay of sound and movement more accurate, and the screen clear.

My son loves being able to watch his daughter while not in the room.

I really thought this was it as for cameras but I’ve been really really let down. I’ve owned 3, not ONE but THREE of these cameras. I know shame on me…should have learned. 2 being I bought myself on Amazon and one being bought on the Facebook market (which I understand isn’t VTechs fault, but it still comes down to it being the same camera brand). My first camera the monitor battery life depleted pretty quickly. Then the camera itself started glitching and the lens would turn on and off on and off and at times just not work.We bought a second camera.Now this second camera monitor life is worse than the first. You just have to constantly keep it charged. Today the monitor screen just went black on me even being plugged in to charge at the same time, which prompted me to write this review because I’ve had it.The other camera I bought from the Facebook market place did the same thing the other two cameras have done on me.Such a bummer. I even bought one for my parents business so in all you can say I’ve bought 4 of these cameras. I KNOW…dumb.
