It's so hard to find clothing that is almost all cotton nowadays! As I've gotten older, it seems like man made fibers cause me to sweat too bad and since they're not breathable, I ended up getting rashes. So my quest for cotton began. I wear these to sleep in and even though I may sweat a little, these are breathable so no more rashes. Yay! They're comfortable and a good leg length to keep from riding up while you sleep too. Thanks!

I was afraid these would be tight and hot, but they're stretchy and comfortable. Nice to wear under dresses instead of panty hose. I would buy them again.

I like long underwear like this as opposed to little panties. The colors are not very saturated and bright which I personally like. I originally purchased a pack to wear to work to combat the horrible chafing I was experiencing. They didn't really work to be frank. I still developed those awful rashes between my thighs, right where my groin meets the insides of my thighs. I suppose there's a bit of space in there where my skin makes contact with itself and gets rubbed raw.Other than that, I really like these for normal everyday use. They're comfortable and none of mine have gotten holes in them yet. I can pull them high over my belly and they stay there, so I don't need to worry about mooning everyone when I bend over. The texture isn't the softest and they aren't silky smooth, but I find the material pleasant.If there was a way to ensure that there isn't an open space for your skin to rub against itself in your most delicate regions, these would be perfect. But at the same time, it might feel too constricting down there. Perhaps this sacrifice must be made in order to combat chafing.

1st long leg cotton underwear that I have found that are comfortable to wear

These fit really nicely the waistband doesn't dig in and is narrow enough it doesn't roll/fold when you sit. I don't have a lot of hips or butt so I ordered a size smaller than recommended by the sizing chart. Having said that, there are 3 things that would make these even better if they didn't have a tag,the seams were stitched flat and double lining for the crotch. The material is thin enough that I wouldn't wear them as just shorts.

This is the best purchase I ever made! So comfortable,soft, and it doesn't feel cheap, yet so lightweight you don't even know you're wearing it. Love the longer legs, no pinching or chafing either. Ordering another set!

🚨If you’re looking for shorts to wear UNDER skirts or tunics, for the purposes of preventing chin rub, these are the ones you’re looking for!🚨 I’m not usually in the habit of posting pictures of my backside on Amazon but I felt a review that covers a few issues was needed.First of all, YES, these really are 95/5 (or thereabouts) cotton spandex, NOT polyester, unlike a lot of fraudulently described items on here. I have a sensitivity to most synthetic fibers but thankfully not spandex/lycra, and after a few washes and wears and a burn test I can confirm this is legit.Second, a few users have mentioned that the material is see-through. If you’re someone who’s usually comfortable wearing leggings as pants and looking to wear the BLACK shorts by themselves, you’ll probably be happy with the opacity (but remember that the more this kind of fabric is stretched, the more see-through it is - size up if you plan to wear these by themselves). You can see how much I had to crank up the brightness in that photo to demonstrate the point of translucence. And obviously, for the paler colorways, including nude, dark undies are going to show through. Never met a single-ply cotton-spandex blend garment for which this wasn’t true; please have realistic expectations for fabric.Third, these ARE long enough to get past the point where most thighs rub, and they DO NOT roll up! I’m very impressed with how good they are at this part of their job.Finally: These are clearly what are known as “safety shorts” in China/Korea/Japan, a garment meant to preclude up-skirt creepshot photography (which is why they’re described as underwear on the package, and the seemingly 100% cotton thigh gusset suggests they can totally be worn alone without underwear underneath), being marketed to western consumers as bike shorts. If you need a stand-alone garment, buy something else - but if you’re looking for safety shorts/chub rub prevention, these are excellent. I bought myself nine pairs. Good luck!
