Good enough but the hinge plastic could be better!
Good fit for the camera and the clear plastic seems very good quality but not scratch proof. The front lens cover is very resistant to scratch tho. The waterproof seals were functional but the white plastic at the lock cracked after underwater use. I have read some more review where they had similar problems at the hinge plastic. So it makes me think that the hinge plastic is not of the same quality as the clear plastics. Even though it seems easy to replace just the hinge cover, you cannot buy it as spare part from YI you have to get a new case itself if you wish to rectify the problem. I had to buy a second case as this fault developed after the return window but was given a 50% discount for the second case.Its a good enough case and seems better overall considering it can be used with other go pro and action camera accessories as they all use same mount. However I would like to be able to purchase spare parts (like the plastic hinge) for the case as the hinge than the whole case!

Hopeless case. Case button makes no contact with the camera button.
Totally hopeless case. In preference to using a far cheaper alternative I purchased this "Original" case to take on a Red Sea diving trip. The night before my first days diving I put my Yi 4K into the case and was stunned to discover that the case button wouldn't depress the camera button no matter how hard it was pressed. In fact when fully depressed the case button didn't even make contact with the camera button which meant the case was completely useless. I'm pretty convinced that the case I recieved was not an "original" Yi case although it came in a nice Yi box. Fortunately I had also packed my old case which to my relief worked flawlessly on 20 dives to a depth of 35m. Do not buy this original Yi case get the Rhodsey waterproof protective case instead for a third of the cost.

Cracked on the clip after 3 months. Also the hinge pins started to rust after underwater use. My previous Go-Pro case has had the same use and treatment for years with no rust or cracks. Shame.

Solid waterproof case
Expensive for what it is but rather get the original although you can get a copy for cheaper I will not risk it though so got this as I wanted to use it for snorkelling
