Great Product

I enjoyed putting these models together. I have hurt myself a little trying to use my nails to bend the tabs but id do it over again and will because i had an incident and they all got messed up.

Impressive detail, quick to build

This is my second 'MetalEarth' model, and it was a fun task to put it together. Takes about 15 minutes if you have needle-nose pliers and narrow snips to separate parts from the main sheet. The most challenging part is rounding out the engine cowling at the front of the fuselage.

First One! Love it!

I just stumbled on these on Amazon. Bought 3 to try. Built the ZERO first. Quite challenging but a lot of fun. I will need to get a better set of mini needle nose. The tip must close very tight to grip the very small tabs. The parts seemed a little loose after completion so I took Rust-Oleum Specialty Lacquer (High Lustre) Clear and sprayed 3 fine coats over 1 days time. Worked beautifully! Now it's tight and should maintain it's finish much better. The US Capitol is next.

... the instructions are not as clear as I would like. Love the end result

Takes a bit of thinking ahead because the instructions are not as clear as I would like. Love the end result.

Was the most easy of all I have done

You will need a magnifying hood and small tools. Don't bent the tabs more than once, you may get away with 2 times.it looked good...

Great for a half-hour of assembly entertainment

One of the more challenging of the MetalEarth models I've done so far, due to the hexagonal fuselage and fuel tank. Definitely entertaining for the half-an-hour or so it takes to assemble any of the kits, and if you take your time they are nice to have as little display pieces.

Horrid!

I'd give these model cut outs No star if possible. The idea is great, though the metal is not much stronger- seriously- than aluminum foil. Each piece is pre-cut and has to be loosened/cut out of the template. That, in itself is difficult because like paper dolls, the folding ends can tear or bend, which makes it useless. Unlike paper dolls, you can't use tape on a metal statue.Because of its flimsiness, when a piece has to be bent, in order to connect it to a second piece, if it is bent too much, then like the paper doll, it is on the verge of breaking or ricocheting the other parts of the piece. AKA it is useless. Now imagine having to do this with at least 50 pieces of aluminum. Even with tweezers, it'd be nearly impossible for the average person to assemble. I seriously wonder if the model in the picture is made of a stronger metal or built by a mouse. If I could return it, which I'm not sure in good faith I could since it has been opened, I would.

Too expensive

For what it is and extremely delicate thus complicated to assembleYou will need a lot of patience, glue and a super magnifying glass
