Drip Sprinkler Head
Like the ease of installing. Simply insert it into the drip hose. Need a lot since if my dogs are out when they run it is to much for them to resist pulling them up to get the water.

Difficult to install
Had to use small torch to soften the 1\4 line. No way I could get the dripper's barb to go into the 1\4 line without heating the line first. Fairly warm day but the barb is just too large in diameter. Once I got it into the drip line after heating it seems to work ok. Regular Raindrip drippers install just fine in the same 1\4 line without heating.Great idea, just poor design.

Big stake... tiny barb... maybe too tiny?
UPDATE (7/29/2021) - First drip emitter barb failed again and now another has failed elsewhere on the same circuit. As I cannot trust these to stay in place I have returned the entire set (at least the 97 they sent me). FWIW I did measure the barb and it is certainly NOT 1/4" as the description indicates. On account of these failures and my decision to return I have downgraded my rating to a single star. This product is indeed buyer beware.UPDATE (7/19/2021) - First drip emitter barb failed. I have slipped it back on and it holds, for now. I've removed one star and am contemplating returning the batch as I don't know if these barbs will hold for the long haul.Original Review Below...The unit as a whole works. The stake is plenty long to ensure the emitter isn't going anywhere. The issue I have with the emitters is that the barb for attaching to the 1/4" tubing is NOT as large as I have experienced on other emitters made by other brands (i.e., think of what is sold at HD or Lowes). So much so that I have been able to remove the emitter simply by pulling it off. For this reason I give the emitter four stars. At this point they have made it past an initial test run and the morning water cycle. I will update this review if they fail.I am beginning to question their viability if I were to attempt to plug them directly into the 1/2" tubing after creating a whole using a standard punch tool. The saving grace may be that the 1/2" tubing is pressure regulated to 25 PSI. I will see about updating my review when I've done so and had time to test that setup. On a side note, while the Amazon item says it comes in a pack of 100 emitters, I only received 97 functional stakes and emitters. I will reach out to the seller and see about this matter. (This oversight by the seller in shorting me product has not weighed my rating of the emitters themselves.)

1/4" inside diameter tubing important
There's a risk of these emitters popping off when there's too much pressure AND the 1/4" is too large. I generally use Rainbird emitters, which I measured the nipple at .237". These emitters are .219". However, your 1/4" irrigation tubing inside diameter should drive your decision. I have Raindrip tubing which has an ID of .117".4 stars because they work fine for me. Others may not be so happy.
