IT'S THE PHONE at fault - not the protector
Read ALL the negative reviews on ALL the protector's for the LG Velvet. They ALL say the same thing. This is an LG issue. This product is perfectly clear glass. Spend more if you like; but you won't conquer your own phone!My fingerprint reader quit working. Make your decision - do you want to protect your screen - or use your thumb?

Queda excelente
Me gusta como quedo mucho mejor que el anterior no tiene marco negro por las orillas como la mayoría lo tienen lo cual me gusta más. Fácil de instalar queda mucho mejor pegándolo con resina UV.

Good Unless You Drop Your Phone a Lot
I drop my phone a lot as I have a job where I am always moving and need it on me, I tend to drop it as I work with animals and they can be hyper. Both screens broke the 1st time I dropped my phone. The phone was fine, but I had to replace the protector right away. They cracked, but all other things like scratches it protected perfectly.

Disappointment in 1 package
I have had this on my phone for 2 days!!! And guess what :) it has already cracked. Plus the thumb print doesnt work at times. And it gets pretty annoying. Im keeping the cracked one on till i get a new non garbage one😊

Does not allow fingerprint security
If you are looking for a screen protector that will allow you too use biometrics (i.e., fingerprints) to unlock your phone and/or log into web sites, keep looking!!! These are NOT THE SCREEN PROTECTORS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR if you have an LG Velvet 5G phone.I know the product description says otherwise, but it is wrong. I could not get past getting about 27% of a fingerprint stored before it stalled and eventually gave up. I tried my thumb, pointing finger, and middle finger on BOTH hands. None was read completely with this screen protector installed. Absolutely no problem before I removed the original $40+ protector I originally bought from Verizon, nor when I tried without a screen protector (althought fingerprints saved with screen protector off were not recognized ~7 out of 10 times within this screen protector on.Otherwise, it seems to be more than adequate. It is responsive when using onscreen keyboard or other screen tap functions. I suspect the "anti-fingerprint" coating is the problem.
