Bought on sale.Great all round trimmer and very .Lightweight and very portable.Good sale price.Need good battery but will last ok.

Cuts hair well, but where the hair is thicker move the cutting head slowly. I found that the flat cutting heads need to be wiped occasionally during use otherwise they become.e clogged with small pieces of hair.The selection of heads is good and they all work well for me. The trick is to move the head slowly giving the heads chance to move.The battery compartment is well designed and will take an Amazon AA rechargeable battery. Its a snug fit, but the battery is always protruding so it can be easy be removed for charging.This is my first trimmer and I've found it to be a good value purchase.

Best trimmer I've come across.

Considering Remington are meant to be a "leader" in their field, consumers won't mind paying a little more.However, this really is sub-par quality. Although lightweight, it feels plastic and cheap. Everything feels like it's done at "minimal cost, maximum profit".That battery compartment cap tripples as On, Off and Open (for battery compartment). A fraction of a turn too much past the "off" position and the compartment comes open leaving you fumbling for the battery and closing it again.The nasal hair attachment is fairly ineffective. Not the diameter of the cutting arrea is very narrow and the blades are either not sharp enough or the RPMs are too slow. No matter how far you push it up the nostril and jam it in every possible part, very little is cut and I can still find long, thick hairs in that area after use.The clipper, again, stuffers from either sharpness or motor speed as it's fairly ineffective on short (but within length) stubble. The plastic height/grade comb i wouldn't trust and haven't used it. It's really poor quality and it doesn't feel sturdy enough to stay at a selected height throughout a whole trim.The detailer, is ok but not perfect. It is enough to provide a guide line then you need to wet/close shave to it, but the eyebrow comb I wouldn't trust for the same reason as the comb on the clipper, it's just poor quality and untrustworthy.The connection of each addaption to the main body is fairly secure and that's about the only positive to feedback on this product.As for grooming "personal areas"? Well, not that I've done it with this. Why? Because it's not suited towards that kind of use in both power, blade protection and consistency of length. Just from looking at the product, you should be able to tell that "it might nick".If you do decide to use this particular product for that purpose, expect "nicks" from the clipper points and "pulled hairs" as the blade and motor are not powerful enough.This is only powered by 1 AA battery, so should be capable for a quick emergency nasel or eyebrow trim, but it isn't. For "other areas" a device with a Li-Ion battery is required. They hold much more power and will ensure an effective, pain free session.Remington really dropped the ball on this product.

The attachments are good, great selection of different bits to use. Lightweight and easy to use. Battery last ages in it. Blades are nice and sharp so cut well, good size not bulky at all.

Like everything new, it is a-little smaller, thinner steel, less blades/cutting power but it does do the job but with a little more effort. In short, not as good as the older model but they don't make the older model. Still worth buying.

Neat little product

Useless. Not even strong enough to cut the hairs on my knuckles let alone nose or ear hair. Awful, cheap, does not cut properly. Now looking at alternatives after using scissors for the best part of a year.
