E45 Eucalyptus Scented Cream, 500g - Whole Body Moisturizer for Dry Skin & Eczema Relief, Paraffin Enriched

All so strange. Container is unusual. Scent was to be eucalyptus but no scent. does not feel like most lotions. kind of loose and lumps. Feels wonderful on my skin, taking a while to be smoothed into skin. It is all so strange yet i like it. Not sure would order again but will know when close to finishing.Addendum: Update: Best body cream ever, in my humble opinion. Makes my skin feel like silk. I will be getting this again, regularly.

Like the Emollient Wash, the E45 cream has rave reviews for those suffering from severe dry skin and Eczema. Also like the Wash, it is a UK-made product and not available here, as far as I have searched.The cream is pretty much liquid paraffin, which is wax, and while it is soothing and excellent and fragrance-free, you can tell it has a very light, waxy feel to it. It's NOT greasy, just lightly waxy. It doesn't make me shine, either. I think it's absolutely brilliant, because it holds moisture in the skin really well. The front of the bottle says, " White Soft Paraffin", "Light Liquid Paraffin", and "Anhydrous Lanolin (Medilan)".Before I had to resort to Crisco (believe it or not) and petroleum jelly to forcibly hold moisture in my facial problem areas, which are the corners of my mouth, my chin, cheek areas and around the folds of my nose, which worked great, but very shiny and greasy too, which often caused pore-clogging as a side effect.The E45 cream is recommended for "soothing, dry, itching, flaking, chapped, rough and calloused skin, sunburn and detergent hands", according to the wording on the bottle. Also on the bottle's label: "also for more serious dry skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, ichthyosis and certain dry cases of psoriasis". Can be used for everyone, including babies unless there's an allergy to the contents.The bottle is huge, it will last quite a while. 500g equals 17.6 oz.Also, this ships from the UK and will take a while (weeks) to arrive. Heads-up to you -to me, it was well-worth it.

I have been using this for a few years now, and feel incredibly lucky to have found it through the recommendation of another Brit - wasn't even aware of it myself. I have pretty bad varicose veins and run the risk of non-healing ulcers on my ankles. When I wear any kind of support hose, they make my skin itch, and break out within a day or so - and soon after that I have a huge hole that won't heal. While I still only wear the hose every other day, I use this cream on my ankles and feet every night at bedtime, and it helps, really helps. The itching stops, and the skin just doesn't have the same tendency to break out and ulcerate. Also, the general condition of my feet is vastly improved, with no rough or dead skin. The cream is pretty thick, and I normally would not use this type, it would be too heavy, but it really works to moisturize and doesn't leave any residue. It takes 1-2 weeks to arrive, and I always keep one spare now!

Good product but bottle was broken...it's a huge bottle will last a long time ..

This stuff is absolutely worthless. It doesn't do any of the things it professes to do. No help with cracked skin or eczema. You're better off with plain old, cheap store brand lotion.Save your money.

First let me start by saying I do not usually leave feedback , just buy and go my way. I had ordered two pumps in March and they were sent to me right away, I can tell because I saw the date stamped on the package. Now this is from Europe, so after they do their part, USPS here has to their part..in my case there was a week delay, so thinking that I may not receive my products, I requested a refund. Well, British Goodies answered the same day with an apology and refunded the money ASAP!!! Guess what I got the creams 48h later..I contacted them so they could cancel the refund but it was too late...yeah that is how fast and efficient they are.They offered me to keep the creams and welcome me at anytime as their customer, with, mind you, another apology for a delay that was NOT their fault.If you have to buy this soothing, wonderful, cream that does wonders for your skin: THIS IS THE PLACE TO DO SO! i'll be reordering very shortly! Five full stars! Way to go!

This is the greatest, I've used E45 since it's introduction, back then I like it as a guy for it not having a scent and working so well. I would use the lotion occasionally for living in dry climates here in the US and because I have always had dry skin. Now I'm older and still have dry skin and have many health issues from thyroid to medication side affects. I use this cream after I towel dry before I dress to prevent abrasions from scratching terrible itchy skin especially in the desert with forced air heat. The pump makes it easier to apply instead of glopping into a jar which works but is a bit messier to deal with. DirectKart makes it easy to obtain this from the UK without always having to ask relatives to send care packages. Everyone is busy these days and buying it from Amazon makes it so that you don't have to feel like a pest asking for family to send it to you.

We have a 1.5 year old who suffers from pretty gnarly eczema since he was born and we've tried everything under the sun. Poor little guy would scratch so much, especially at night that he'd bleed all over his crib. We took to outfitting him in larger-sized pjs and sewing his sleeves shut so he wouldn't itch at night. We received the E45 bottle last week (along with a few other "international" creams we will be trying over the next few months) and so far his skin has begun to heal up (no more scales and less red) and he hasn't itched in a week! He's right now only using the E45 and we are very generous with it. Healing skin and less itch, that's a huge success for us.
