Better than expected. Really holds tightly to tubular gate. Doesn't swivel or loosen. Love this.

My mare cribs, so need to have e-fencing. Easy to use, just place around pipe and snap on. They work with e-wire, tape or rope. I like that they stick out from the fence. This keeps your horse away from the perimeter, which also helps if your horse is prone to casting. Re-usable, adaptable and durable.

These insulators went around each of our fence poles where we could attach the hot wire to them. Our husky dog digs out or would just pull up the cyclone fencing squeezing out and the German Shepherd would jump the fence. After 2 different times of getting shocked t did the trick. It was imperative they not get out as we are surrounded by a ranch with cattle, goats, pigs, sheep, alpacas, etc. Worked great, but since they're plastic well occasionally check them all.

Just a little tricky to match the dual snap jaws, but perfect for a nice snug fit on a horizontal tube. Use channel locks to secure. I found that using my pocket knife to gently pry and align the locking jaws made it easy to start the closure, then the channel locks snug these up perfectly. Remember to place it on the tube with the wire slot UP, because you aren't going to get this back off very easily once you clamp it down.

This does not fit the galvanized top pipe railing on chainlink fencing. My fence was installed in 1958 and the diameter on this clamp insulator was too large. I did get this to work by enclosing a link or two of chainlink inside the clamp to take up space. This item still spins around unless I manipulate the fence top to wrap the plastic clamp insulator.2month Follow up review.These worked but after 2 months in the Texas heat and sun, I can honestly say half of the ones I installed are no longer UP, AS INSTALLED, MOUNTED, FUNCTIONAL. They are still connected to the wire but the clip connection that hold these to the pipe broke. Either the shaft to the ring breaks or the clip for the ring breaks. These are not UV Resistant or Strength tested. when the wind blows these twist on the pipe, or they break! I guess I will use Liquid adhesive to chemically fasten these to my Galvanized chainlink fence.

I setup the round pen panels in a line to section off the pasture for some work we're doing and these allowed the electric fence to run along it as well and work great. Have a pair of channel lock pliers for tight install.

So happy to find these! I originally found these at my feed store several years ago and hadn't seen them since. Fortunately I had kept the bag from my original purchase and found them here at Amazon.They work great on my horse panels keeping the horses or cattle from pushing on the panels or harassing the horse next door. Easy to install, remove and reinstall. Another site offered these insulators at a much higher price, so I'm happy to find these on Amazon!

Added a wire to the inside of our horse pen. Our horses were pushing our metal fencing all over the place. We added a solar electric component and wiring. We haven’t found them to break easily. We’ve had them up for a few weeks and none have broken. Just what we were looking for!
