Update:the company replaced my broken one with the new updated model, I already notice a difference in it! Great customer support.I mostly love this product. It’s kinda flat, barely thicker than the phone cameras so it stays flat on the table. The finger holder works great and doesn’t hurt after a while of use. The magnet is strong but the protective sticky lost its stick and is coming off the phone. The stand is strong but with in less than 12 months it has broken and now freely swings with zero resistance, ultimately unusable and will need to be replaced.

I was a little hesitant to buy this phone grip. It looked a little flimsy. But I was wrong. It's actually pretty sturdy. My phone isn't mag so I had to put on the magnet ring. The adhesive seems strong. I took off the grip, put it back on and rotated it a few times. Magnetic ring didn't budge. My fav thing about this grip is the extra straps it comes with. The strap itself doesn't feel too loose and I can easily put my finger through it. It's nice to know I have back ups in case it snaps. The ring part is a nice feature also, it makes my phone stand up higher than a regular grip. I have an oh snap 1.0 and they don't make these anymore. Not a fan of the new oh snap and I didn't want to pay 30 something for it. This is a great alternative I'd say. Only downside is it doesn't stick to metal like my oh snap. But I can live without that part.

I absolutely love this and have been using it for a couple of years now. The main feature I got this for is the band piece to help holding the phone especially in bed so I stop dropping it on my face lol. It's great for taking pictures as well. And the other ring feature works great to put my phone for my son to watch videos on and just to have it on my desk. I have no problems with the magnetic piece of it and it also works on a car charger I got compatible with magsafe. I use a case and this on top and it still grips to the phone charger. The bands will eventually wear off and break, but it comes with several replacements. Additionally, I've contacted customer service for other replacements and they sent easily. I've bought several of this already!

I really wanted to like this. And I actually do! I wanted to move away from Popsockets so in April (2 months ago) I searched all over for a thinner, sturdier option. I settled on this Mag One and was initially quite satisfied with my purchase. Much thinner than popsockets, slim and didn’t catch on pockets when slipping your phone into one. The grip took a little getting used to. You slide one or two fingers under a small strap instead of holding the mount between two fingers. The kickstand feature works well - it’s stiff enough to stay where you put it but not difficult to move. The stand pops off with a little effort if you’re charging with a cordless charger and east to put back in the right spot if u have a magnetic case.BUTThree things slowly emerged to drop my rating from a 5 to a 3 (3.5 if there was that option):1. Because a magnet holds it in place, you only have one option for placement. If you have smaller hands, you might position the mount a little differently than a pro basketball player would. I have average hands so it’s fairly comfortable except when playing certain games one-handed.2. After less than two months of use, the original strap split. (See pic.) Mind you, it didn’t tear straight across, making me drop and damage my phone. It just cracked on the one side. I was able to continue to (carefully) use it for a couple of days until I had time to change it. This MagOne package contains two bands that have light elasticity. There are also two “tight” bands and one with a ring shaped center. So all together if you use all of them, one at a time, you can replace the band 5 times beginning on day 1. They are easy to replace. They have a pin type of latch.3. The paint! (See pic.) At about 1 month of use the scratches and areas of worn paint were becoming obvious. This doesn’t seem to affect the function in any way. However, it’s looks so beat. You would think I’d had it for many years. Very disappointed that the sleek black finish didn’t last long.Suggestions for the manufacturer:1. make the silicone bands a little thicker and/or stronger.2. Use a better quality paint and/or better method of application.Not certain I would purchase again unless those two issues were addressed adequately. 🙁
