Favorite!
Favorite body wash. Lasts longer than you’d think for the amount in the bottle. Smells great and leaves me feeling super soft and clean.

Secret to Smooth Body skin
This is a body exfoliant in a gel which lathers use on a shower sponge. Not harsh but necessary! No lingering odor.

Love Tatcha
This is quite pricey but I love the herby, gingery smell. Texture is amazing. The packaging is ok.

Gentle exfoliating gel body wash with a light, fresh scent that doesn’t linger.
Tatcha Forest Awakening Hinoki Body WashThis 6.7 fl oz / 200 ml soft exfoliating body wash arrived in a pretty box and came with a pamphlet (written in English and French) explaining the Japanese concept of forest bathing or shinrin yoku. It’s a beautiful concept that is familiar to those of us who enjoy a walk in the woods, even if we’ve never heard of shinrin yoku.I’ve used this gel body wash several times now, and I find myself looking forward to it. The wash is clear with visible white, eco-friendly cellulose beads for exfoliation (not microplastic) that leaves your skin soft, smooth, and ready for lotion. The cellulose beads are not rough or hard. The wash lathers lightly, and the subtle, fresh scent is relaxing. I’ve never heard of hinoki or hiba wood before, but this scent is a combination of cedar, hiba, and hinoki essential oils. The light scent doesn’t linger once you’re out of the shower, but Tatcha sells a body milk and oil in the same scent if you would like to layer. This exfoliating body wash is on the expensive side for 6.7 fl oz, but I don't exfoliate every day so will probably use this about once a week going forward.Good for six months after opening. Tatcha body wash is cruelty-free (unfortunately this is not stated on the product). This body wash is made without mineral oil, synthetic fragrances, sulfate detergents, parabens, urea, DEA, TEA, or phthalates. “Every Tatcha purchase supports education equality worldwide.” Made in Japan.

Great product
I've used this product for a couple years now. Smells very clean and works well for my sensitive skin. You don't have to use much, so you get a lot of product and it doesn't run out quickly.

Didn't meet my expectations...
I recently tried the Tatcha Forest Awakening Hinoki Body Wash, and while there were a few things I liked about it, overall I don't think it's worth the price tag.One of the pros of this body wash is that a little goes a long way. The texture is a soft, exfoliating scrub that lathers up nicely and cleanses your skin well. You don't need to use much product to get a good lather, which means the bottle will last you a while.Another pro is that the scent of this body wash is refreshing and invigorating. It has a clean, natural scent that reminds me of a walk in the woods. It's not overpowering or artificial, which I appreciate. However, there are a few cons to this body wash that make me hesitant to recommend it. The first is that the scent doesn't last very long on your skin. While it smells nice in the shower, I didn't notice any lingering scent on my skin after I got out. For the price point, I was hoping for a longer-lasting fragrance.Speaking of price, that's the biggest downside to this body wash for me. While it's a nice product, I don't think it's worth the money you pay for it. There are plenty of other body washes on the market that are just as effective at a lower price point. If you're looking to indulge in a high-end body scrub, this might be a good option for you. It's a nice product that feels luxurious and smells good. However, if you're looking for a practical body wash that won't break the bank, there are better options out there.
