Ugly's Electrical References, 2023 Edition

GREAT reference! Easy to use, small enough to tote around to jobs!

Great reference to have on hand at your workshop, workplace, or tech lab! After reviewing the hard copy, we got the app from Google Play Store and it is a fantastic upgrade to the spiral bound handbook. MUCH better than the Kindle version.But if you really prefer ebooks, then having the app and the Kindle book ( instead of hardcopy) does make sense!

It's more than I'll ever need. Not recommended for a DIY, more for professionals.

Has all the quick references you will need. Good quality, should take quite a bit of abuse.

This is my go-to reference for anything electrical. Yeah the NEC is the official handbook, but it doesn't fit in your pocket like Ugly's does. That and YES, you may bring this to your NEC test to journey out (at least here in WA state). I recommend getting one and keeping it handy in your work van or car.

When you do electrical work, you follow the code. To do otherwise is just foolhardy and stupid. This little book is handy and a lot easier to carry around than the code book. It has the tables references needed to do calculations. This matters when you do a lot of field work. Every site is different and you want to get it right. Here’s your guide and in a most convenient size. Up to date and easy to use. Best get one for yourself and have it handy the next time you have to calculate for wire size or other important things.
