I love bio freeze in general. My problem was the hand applied gels and creams stay on my fingers too long. So when I would think I washed it off my fingers enough and had to itch my eye or get eye goop out I'd accidentally get just enough bio freeze in my eye to have to flood it with contact solution.This option with the rolly ball application took that problem away. So I can use this on my neck for tension whenever I need to and it works absolutely great!

I have been buying Biofreeze Professional Strength Pain Relief Gel for awhile now. Does a decent job at minor to medium pains/soreness. As a helper at the early stages of a migraine (back of my neck/base of head) or general muscle/joint pains, the earlier you apply this, the better it can ward off any more major pain that might creep in. I like the roll-on because it's more of a non-mess type ordeal. The smell of menthol is still there and immediately strong, but seems to dissipate quicker than creams and balms do. It's also a bit more portable, as you could leave it in a bookbag or in the car (covered) and not have the same leakage concerns as a cream or balm melting in hot weather as long as it's upright.Everyone is going to be different, but I find that it can work for up to 4-5 hours.

I ABSOLUTELY Love how you apply this roll on pain relief. I have used many of these types of products in the past, but to be able to apply wihout your hands is a game changer. I don’t get a TON of relief from these kinds of medications (hence the 4 stars) but this works as well as any AND it’s a clean application! We buy it frequently and use it a lot. I keep one in my nightstand so if the aches hit, I can just grab, roll on, and put back, No need to get up to wash hands,etc. Try!
