Great Taste with a plot twist
Great water filter once we got the kinks worked out!Got this RO system through Vine and have been using it for about a month now. Honestly, it's been a bit of a journey but I'm really happy with where we ended up.The Good Stuff FirstThis thing was SO easy to set up - I'm not handy at all but literally just took it out of the box and it was ready to go. Fits perfectly under our kitchen cabinets and doesn't take up much counter space. The water tastes incredible compared to our tap water, and I tested it with some strips I had - went from 150 TDS down to 20, which is pretty impressive. The flow is great too - no waiting around forever for a glass of water like some filters I've tried. Just turn it on and it fills up fast. The Bumpy StartHere's where it gets interesting... At first I was getting these weird particles in the water - some white bits and black specks that would settle in my kettle. I flushed it like crazy thinking maybe it just needed to be cleaned out, but they kept coming. I was honestly pretty frustrated and ready to give it a mediocre review.Plot Twist - Amazing Customer ServiceBut then I reached out to the seller and WOW - they immediately sent me a replacement filter, no questions asked. That's the kind of customer service that really makes a difference.Happy EndingWith the new filter? Perfect. Crystal clear water, amazing taste, no particles. We use it for everything now - coffee, cooking, drinking. My family has totally converted from bottled water.Would definitely recommend this, especially knowing the seller actually cares if you have issues. Sometimes you get a dud part, but when a company makes it right like this, that's what matters.

Working Well After 4 Months
Family is saving $10 a week on drinking and some cooking water. Our ROI is 30 weeks and then we start saving money at $200 every 6 months including filter replacements and the cost of tap water. Those statements are for budget conscious people. The system has worked normally for 4 months. It provides filtered water within a minute or so (never actually timed). Noise level is low, but noticeable if you are in the same room. For the health conscious, I can't say for sure because I have not got the water tested, but RO water should be close to pure water. So, this system does not return good minerals to the water, but you can upgrade your system or add the minerals on your own through a balanced diet and supplements. My family likes the improved "no taste" water. My favorite is to reduce potential injuries, not carrying in all that bottled water is great for my health. Carrying a full tank is like carrying a gallon of milk. Handle is comfortable. For the elderly, you do not need to fill the tank to the top line. My recycling bin is a lot less... better for the environment if my recycler is doing their job. The unit does fit under our top cabinets. I would recommend this product for those who want filtered drinking water and do not have the space or skill for under the sink but do have a little countertop space.

Love this system!
Highly recommend! I did a lot of research and this reverse osmosis countertop unit checked all the boxes for me. I went from living in a house where I had an under-sink system to an apartment where I couldn't mess with the plumbing, so I had high standards. This has a fairly fast flow rate. I was worried it would take too long to fill water bottles etc but it's really not bad. From what I've read of many other countertop systems, they take forever and produce a lot of waste water. The ratio of waste water is low for this machine and I appreciate that it only filters as it dispenses, meaning no second tank for holding the clean water is needed. Makes it less cumbersome and your clean water doesn't just sit in plastic until you use it. It takes a little while to go through the initial flushing process, so don't try to set this up when you're in a rush to get somewhere. I got the pitcher with the alkaline filter add on, and I'm so glad I did! PS you do not need to keep the alkaline filter piece on the top of the pitcher as you go through the initial flushing process. I told their customer support they should note this in the directions, and they confirmed they would update their manual to reflect this. No need to waste uses of your precious alk filter with the flushing water! If you drink a lot of water (which I do, about 100 ML per day) this machine is ideal for one or two people who are committed to refilling it as soon as the light pops on to change the water. I think if I lived in a household with someone who wouldn't refill it or with multiple people, it would get kind of frustrating. Note that most countertop units have small reservoir tanks, but this one seems to be just right for me. I recommend placing this right next to your sink like I did, because the reservoir is a little heavy to have to transport it across a kitchen multiple times per day.
