Finally found a case that works for me. Its thin, folds like a book, and most importantly --- the magnets do not affect the screen. That was an issue I found on a number of failed attempts, I would get "dead spots" on my screen that I thought was the device.Overall, very good looking case, easy to hold, works well, protects the device, and holds the pen firmly. Hopefully i will not have to buy it again, but if I do, i will.

This case is adorable! Perfect for an astrology girlie like meeeeee! 😍 I've had it since Sunday and it's great so far. I love the wake/sleep feature, the charging port is easily accessible, and the pen fits perfectly where it's supposed to go. It's very slim and sleek, and it has a texture that makes it easier to hold onto vs the scribe without the case on. I can't attest to durability or the stand feature, but I hope it'll be durable enough to help protect my baby when I accidentally drop him 🤞🏼

This is a very decent case for under $30, has some good features (that could be improved), and does its number 1 job very well: provide protection for your expensive Scribe.I like that this case flips open horizontally like a standard book, rather than vertically like the more expensive case by Amazon. I also love the superior protection it provides the stylus compared to other cases available, including Amazon's. The auto-on/off feature is also a big plus. And I love the Van Gogh Starry Night color option.The material feels decent, though I would happily have paid a bit more for something a little more premium -- this definitely feels a little on the cheaper side, though the build quality still feels up to the task of providing more than reliable protection for my Scribe, which is the most important thing for me. I prefer using it without the case when I'm in a place where that's possible, and my main interest in a case is for when I'm stowing my Scribe away or transporting it.I rarely kickstand my Kindles, so that feature wasn't hugely important to me personally, but I wanted the option there if I needed it. And in that regard, this does the job. It could definitely be a bit more stable, and I could see it being problematic for people who use that feature a lot. But that's not a dealbreaker for me.I haven't had it long enough yet to speak to the longevity, but it feels like though it might get dinged up and chip a bit in the longer term, it should be reliable to do its job for quite a long time.The biggest con for me is that when the cover is flipped fully open and around the back, the magnets that hold the front cover against the back cover are so weak in that position as to be nearly useless. Not a big deal for the way I usually hold and use my Scribe, but I wish it fastened back in that position a little more securely.All in all, a very decent cover for what you're paying for, and the color options look great. Decent build and feel, great pen and tablet protection, all for a reasonable price if you don't want to blow a ton of money on a case.

I have tried other cases. Some swivel from portrait to landscape, but they are heavy in comparison. Also, others have top covers that close but often do not turn OFF the Scribe off reliably.This case is light. The cover closes on top of two well positioned magnets providing a positive audible, snapping, closure. The origami cover provides for portrait and landscape standing positions easily. The top cover closes back and there is a part that folds allowing me to hold the Scribe on my palm and read. The pen holder provides for pen to be push out, but I find that it's easier to place the side of your finger against the pen and roll the pen out by sliding the finger up. The cover absorbs moisture: A concern is whether it is easily stained.I am enjoying my Scribe with a new experience: This case is refreshing.

I’ve been waiting a bit to write this review because I wanted to use the scribe for length of time before offering up my experience. I have to say, this is one of the best purchases I made in a long time. Unfortunately, because of an incident I had in my home, I had to throw away all of my books in my library. The amount of books I had was pretty significant. I never wanna have to do that again. So I decided to get the scribe and rebuild my library. It is so easy to use, very easy to navigate, does not hurt my eyes, works well inside or outside day or night, And is big enough to feel like a physical book. It is pretty sturdy and not that heavy. My one suggestion, definitely buy your own cover for it to be on the safe side. The pen works wonderful, easy to use, and has an authentic feel of either a pen, pencil, or highlighter. I would suggest upgrading to the pro as it’s a little bit easier to use. Lastly, with the help of the website, it’s super easy to send PDF or books to your scribe from either your phone or your computer. It takes a few minutes to update, but nothing too long. I would say, if you were really looking to have a library and digital form, to be able to have all your books with you at all times, and be able to take notes, journal, draw, or whatever you usually do in a notebook, this is a great Purchase. Sometimes it goes on sale, so keep your eyes out for that. But if it were me, I would definitely bring this into my home.
