Wow.. !
The media could not be loaded. I dont normally bother writing reviews but if you are considering buying this item, you wont regret it. You can pay about £500 for the philips Hue system or less than £100 for this ? its a no brainer.Easy to set up. App installed easily and the calibration of the camera was straightforward. The fitting of the corner pieces was easy and the led strip itself was fine but I did have to use some extra Command Strip stickers to ensure the 90 bend on the led srip stayed in place. I fitted teh camera at the bottom on the top of the unit in front of teh TV, so unlike the Govee this camera can be mounted top or bottomThere are loads of settings and colour options so its easy to tailor it to the type of lighting intensity you want. Response time is good with no real lag. In the video i attached the setting is Full 4D with that set to Vivid and the lighting intensity dialled back a little. I would recommend that the colour of teh wall behind teh TV is either white or at least a pale colour. My wall is a dark blue so the reflected white light tends to take on a slightly blue tinge. For the price this is pretty impressive bit of kit and well worth the money

Inaccurate
3 months in.Colours are inaccurately picked up by the camera. Most scenes are too green or white is rendered as green. It could be a scene of a blue sky and clouds and the lights will be green.Pretty poor product. The software is unreliable and doesn't work most of the time meaning you need to keep resetting the whole thing. Poor value for money. Difficult to install and maintain. Sticky back came off after 2 weeks at parts requiring ductape or other means. I.e. poor fit.Would not recommend.

Really fun, ideal price
I was skeptical when I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend, veering between this brand and another available on Amazon. This happened to have a great deal on at the time (around Black Friday) so it was the winner. I was pleasantly surprised by how well these matched the screen before we had even used gone through the orientation part.I'll admit, at times the lights can confuse similar colours but it's nothing too annoying and for the price it's nothing to complain about, if you want lights that are perfect, go for the expensive Phillips ones! But if you want to dip your toes into immersive lighting, try these! We found watching Doctor Strange to be an intense experience with all the colours haha.

Great lights, bright and accurate
Really nice set of lights, camera works surprisingly well once setup.Although I did have a hiccup where it lost connection during the setup, and I think that resulted in me missing a calibration step which became important later and was difficult to figure out, as it meant I had to commit to cutting the strip without knowing if that would fix it. Luckily it did, it caused it to tell me to recalibrate the corners.Sadly the corner pieces are useless and just fall off because they provide no adhesives for attaching the to the TV, good idea, poor execution on those.

1st attempt Painful. 2nd much better
Initial review: I’ve read reviews of the product on TechRadar and decided to try. Now I wonder if the jorno got paid for promotion because This thing is painful ….Painful to set up the controller. Painful to attach the strip that doesn’t want to stay attached. And now, 5 hrs after installation the strip no longer works … now thinking not to bother with Cust Service and just give it backUpdate: spent some time with cust service via chat. Advised to return the unit and get a new one. So i did. Much better experience with the new one. Also learned the lesson and used additional adhesive tapes underneath. So changing the rating from 1 to 3 for the initial pain caused

Chromecast integr
When linked with Chromecast it takes backlighting to another level. No flicker and responsive light reaction.

Useless
I've had the TV backlights about 6 months and they are useless. I was undecided between the Nanoleaf and Govee and went with the Nanoleaf after reading some reviews. What a regret that has been. It continuously disconnects from the internet even though a booster box is right next to it. The number of times I've had to delete and set the whole thing back up is ridiculous. When it does work then it doesn't sync with what's on the screen. I've watched all the set-up videos and followed them all step by step but the thing just fails to consistently work. The app isn't very user friendly and the whole system feels like you need to be an engineer to understand it, not the average everyday customer. Such a disappointment and waste of money.
