Easy to use
I recently used the Tub and Tile Refinishing Kit to refurbish my outdated beige bathtub, and I’m sharing my honest thoughts. This product promises to transform your tub with a durable epoxy coating, and I was eager to try it as a budget-friendly alternative to replacement. The kit, which I found for around $50, includes everything you need: epoxy resin, hardener, gloves, a brush, and cleaning materials. The process was straightforward but time-intensiveWhere gloves and a mask.It works well

Easy to use
This worked great on our porcelain tub!!! It had such hard water marks on the tub and this covered it up so well. Very easy to use.

Not so great!
The paint is fine! However, once it dries it shows all the streaks of the roller or paint brush! So it’s very important that you roll on your paint in the same direction after each coat.. I purchased one kit and I only used it for the enclosure wall of the tub area , it wasn’t enough! Buy two just to be on the safe side! If you don’t use it, you can return it. Overall it got the job done. I wanted it white it was white.. but again, I just don’t like the streaks it leaves behind with the brush or the roller marks once it dried.

This paint is very easy to covering areas and it has a very little smell
This paint is great!I painted the whole shower tub and the walls around it only using the brush that came in the box, it still had a quarter left on the container, It was very easy to do! I would buy again!

Buy extra paint, and don’t use the given roller! Came out great!
The media could not be loaded. Looks great! Feels like a new tub!So let me start off by saying if you order the small 16oz container, please be sure to order more than one. This tub renovation turned into a 3 day project.I have a fiberglass bathtub from the 70s that has been cracking here and there. I patched up the cracks and holes then cleaned and sanded it down all around before applying this product. From all the videos I’ve seen on how to use this, no one really mentions how difficult it is to use the provided roller in a small space. It took me a little more than an hour to apply one coat! It even took up most of the paint. So I read in the instructions that you can use this product with a sprayer. Ran to my local hardware store and bought myself a universal sprayer that attaches to my drill and sprayed away. BY ALL MEANS I HIGHLY RECOMMEND sprayed over rolling if you have a little extra budget. Not only did it look cleaner and more even, it saved me the time and hassle by more than half the time I would’ve spent doing it with the small roller. After the third day I let it dry for 48hrs and it came out fantastic! I even applied new cocking all around to the finishing touches.

Easy to use and covers well.
I bought this to refresh my kitchen countertops. It was easy to use and covered some old pink tiles that looked horrible.

I’d give it a 3.5. Here’s why:
• buy more than you think you need. I did thin coats as thin as I could (as instructed) and I can still see streaks. Streaks could also possibly be because of the roller that came with the kit. Which other reviews said maybe don’t use. Ultimately i ordered 2 kits and was able to do 4 coats with no paint left. I’m leaving it as is because it isn’t MY primary bathroom. It is my kids and guests though 🫣• definitely is low odor but still smells like paint in a confined space I just wore a disposable mask during application and sometimes had the bathroom fan running.• the tub now does look painted but it greatly improved the look from the original color. I’m waiting for it to cure still so I can’t speak to the durability just yet but hopefully when it starts to look worn I’ll be ready for a more long term upgrade or ready to sell lol

Good materials for the cost! Also can be time consuming
Absolutely amazing and comes with everything I needed. I was very happy that sandpaper was included because I definitely needed to sand the prior paint that was on before painting this new paint on. This paint dries fairly quickly as well! I haven't tested it yet as I just put the third and final coating on about an hour ago, but I'm going to wait the respective 48 hours at LEAST for it to completely dry and try it out with water. If you get paint on the metal bits on accident (like I did) you can take a razor blade and scrape it off!(Images show before painting, second coat, then third coat that I just completed)UPDATE: It has stayed beautifully, HOWEVER, I have blue dyed hair and any hair strands that have accidentally stayed in the tub definitely stained the paint. I tried rubbing alcohol to get rid of it but it just moved the paint around (before the full seven days for it to set btw). Holds up well with water! Just be careful to completely get rid of any DYED hair after your shower/bath!
