Excellent!
The media could not be loaded. Lovely Kawa Baby Monitor with 2K QHD Camera, and 2.8” ScreenThis baby monitor does not require WiFi it transmits the image and sounds to the screen directly.the monitored screen is clear and comes with almost instant updates.easy to install, but I had an issue with pairing the camera, the monitor kept saying no connection turn ON the camera, so you can solve the problem by going to the camera settings and removing the existing cama then adding the camera from the beginning by long pressing on the camera pairing button, then the camera and monitor will be ready to use in seconds.I like the warning feature on the monitor if the baby makes a slight noise.Overall, a very useful monitor, so I don't have to worry about my baby while working downstairs or in the kitchen.Perfect value for money and highly recommended!

Simplicity itself to set up and use.
The overriding ease of use factor with this baby monitor is for me the most useful feature. It's easy to establish a connection without having to piggyback onto an existing Wi-Fi network. The monitor head unit is battery powered and the battery lasts a fair amount of time, easily throughout the night because the screen turns off when it's not activated by movement or sound. The camera unit needs to be powered by any micro-USB connector, one is included but you can use any you have. Oddly the camera is powered by a micro-USB whereas the screen head-unit is powered by USB-C. You'd think there'd be some commonality between the two, but oddly not. It's so easy to set up and the transmission distance was easily capable of reaching every room in our property and even out to the garage. Literally 20 seconds out of the box and you're away. You just have to set the date and time. Everything else just works out of the box. It's a capable little device. There are areas that could be improved a little. The screen is a little washed out in terms of colour, but honestly it's a baby monitor, not a national broadcast quality camera. For it's intended use it's perfectly fine. The sound pickup is a little garbled but again, it's a baby monitor, not an audio studio ... it's fine for hearing your infant stirring in the night. There are other features such as voice transmission and tunes to play at the camera end but honestly I don't really see the point in them ... but they're there in case you do. The user interface is a little clunky but ten minutes exploring it and setting the device up as you want it is time well spent. I didn't need to refer to the manual because it's fairly self explanatory. The units themselves are well made and relatively small. Everything feels well put together. Overall it feels a well made set with some decent features and it works well enough. The sense of security and reassurance these things give you is not to be underestimated. At heart, all parents are worrisome creatures and these offer a simple way to alleviate that concern. They are not a replacement for vigilance, they just add another string to your bow. You might be wondering if you need such a device, I'd say go for it for certain.

Easy to operate and good image quality
I really pleased with this Kawa baby monitor, image quality is great and setup is easy. Initially I was worried about security as this doesn’t connect via the router, but the 2.4 GHz wireless signal is encrypted and has enhanced FHSS or Frequency-hopping spread spectrum, this should keep the camera signal secure.Recording and playback video or photo options are also available once a micro SD card has been inserted, the memory card can be up to 256GB which is more than plenty. The camera angle is fixed to the position it is placed in, but this is not a problem as it has a decent wide angle viewing. As the camera has a 2K image resolution the image quality is better than other devices I has seen, and the auto night viewing makes for a clear image throughout the night. The two way sound quality is pretty good for a small device, and there is 6 lullaby tunes that can be played. The monitor has the usual alert system to any noise picked up by the camera, this is quite sensitive.Battery life is good with almost a whole days viewing, but recharging the built-in 5050mAh lithium battery is not a fast process, although you can still use the monitor when plugged into the charger. It’s a shame the camera has no internal battery, this has to be permanently connected to the adaptor, it does work perfectly well on a power bank though. The kit comes with 2 charging cables and 2 mains adaptors, unfortunately the connections are not the same. The monitor has the now usual USB C port, but the camera has the older type micro USB port. Both types of cable are supplied. For added flexibility the monitor has the option for connecting up to a maximum of four cameras, and it can scan between them.Overall, this is a good little kit for keeping an eye on your precious ones. At £89.99 at the time of review it’s not the cheapest, but there is often a 20% discount voucher that can be applied.I hope you find my review helpful
