Brilliant marketing tool, but, ultimately, just a love letter to the Tatcha line. If you like Tatcha and use it, there is nothing in this book beyond reinforcement of what the brand believes about its ingredients and philosophy. If you are looking for insight into an asian beauty routine, this covers pretty basic stuff and sticks to the Tatcha ingredient list. Honestly, I use Tatcha, but I know that these ingredients and very similar products can be sourced for a lot less - you're paying for the aspirational quality, the packaging and the story-telling (hence, the book)

This is really the best book about skincare I've ever read. It doesn't read like a big publicity and it really helped me turn my skin around! I didn't understand why my skin wasn't improving with all the products and care I was giving it... But with this book I realised what I was doing wrong and it's so much more supple and beautiful now! This book is a skincare bible!

It was a nice read on a lazy Sunday. Nothing new really, you could google most of the information on Japanese skincare however it’s nice to have it in a book.

Beautiful book. It's not often you buy something and think you're really glad you did because it totally exceeds your expectations. Helpful, interesting information and step by steps. Beautiful design and lovely illustration. A real treasure.

Reading this was like a meditation. Very informative and so beautiful to look at.
