These jammies are exactly what I was looking for and I was SO happy when they arrived. I tried them on and they were HUGE, which is the way I like my jammies. I knew they would shrink a little bit and then be perfect. I washed them on cold and took them out of the washer to look at them and could not believe how much they shrunk. They never even made it into the dryer. I tried them on after they air dried and could hardly even button them. They shrunk about 3 sizes -- way too short and narrow now. I would buy several of these in every color if only the manufacturer would pre-shrink the fabric first. Otherwise they are nicely made and I love the lightweight fabric. Can't you do something to get either a better quality fabric that doesn't shrink quite so much or pre-shrink the fabric ahead of time. I'm so sorry these didn't work out. :(

Very light weight cotton! Breathable and cozy! Machine washed perfectly! Fit as expected! Im 5"4 and 113 lbs, bought a small!

These are very well made cotton pajamas. Based on reviews, I ordered an xxl. I washed and dried them as soon as received and they fit me like a 1x. I wear a M. Those reviews must have been posted by a competitor. These did NOT shrink any more than any other cotton item. Wish I'd ordered a large, but I love them even three sizes too big. The textured drawstring keeps the pants up without even tying.

I actually started the process of returning these pajamas, which are really pretty, by the way, but way too large for me. I got an XL. Then I read the reviews here and said, why don't I throw them in the washing machine and see if they might shrink a little bit. They did indeed shrink (I used warm not hot or cold water in the wash) and now they fit perfectly!!

I replenish my pjs sets a couple of times a year. This is my first order from Global, and I am very pleased.I usually wear Large or Extra Large, depending on how roomy the cut is. This set almost went back because I felt dwarfed in the volume of fabric in the XL. But then I read the tag which explained that they were deliberately cut oversize to allow for the shrinkage of the 100% cotton fabric. Yup, sure enough, every where became a little smaller from the original sizing. And they are now the roominess that I like, but not too big.These have pockets in the lower front, for those who like that. There is subtle piping in several places, and I especially like the nickle-size buttons which are easy for these old fingers to manage.One tiny request would be for All pj mfgs to please sew down the front facings. They crumple up after washing which is uncomfortable, and unsightly. I am not big on ironing, so my solution to this annoyance is to hand stitch the edges flat against the inside.Yes, I would certainly order these Global brand cotton pajamas again.

Wanted long sleeve for summer in the air conditioning and wanted light weight. These are perfect.

Nicely made pjs for the price. The stitching is well done and I love the contrasting piping and the design. As some before me have said though----they do shrink quite a bit. The first wash, a little bit of shrinkage, the second wash a little more. This is in cold water. I hope they do not continue to shrink or they will be too small. I liked these enough that I ordered another pair in one size up. They are baggy but comfortable. I'm hoping that with washing---the fit will be just right! I know cotton shrinks---but would be great if these could come preshrunk.

Nicely made. Based on reviews i was worried these would end up being too tight but after several washings/machine dryings they are still very roomy They wash up nicely by the way
