Purchased to place on sides of driveway. You have to get close in order for the remote to work. Also, the lights are light weight so I have to find tape to keep it in place. I purchased the command exterior, but it did not work.

I used this to wrap around my porch columns. They are fairly long (can go from first floor roof to floor if you wrap loosely, have decent illumination and the typical remote control options you see for these types of lights (there should be a picture of the options). Now, that said, the battery box is pretty heavy when you have batteries in them so you will need strong double sized tape to hold the battery pack. Also, seems like you have to have just the right angle for the remote to work. The good news is the remote works on all of them so you can use one remote for multiple lights. Overall, I am satisfied with them.

Definitely would buy again.

I live in a small garden apartment with a balcony that is my pride and joy in summer. These lights make the balcony magical at night! They are extremely well-made, sturdy and a great value for the money. Oh, and I got the globe lanterns from Amazon, too. I have the prettiest balcony in the entire complex because of these wonderful purchases!

We used these to light our tent for camping & they worked great! They were able to wrap all around our tent. I especially love the rope that houses the lights. I only wish the bit of wire that goes from the battery pack to the lights were housed or better protected as it is just the exposed wires. But thats the only downside & the only reason why I gave it a 3star rating in durability.

These are so cool. I keep them way after Christmas. This particular style of these new lights are perfect for adding some cool fun style in my man cave or on a Christmas tree. Especially with the battery and remote control. You have a very easy and long long lasting color show with ease. I just get a set of basic self sticking hooks and then place the string at my ceiling. I would have gone crazy for this style of led battery remote controlled upgrade to my ‘happy’ and very unique decor. I think all artists need a bit more color and less rules! Anyway the small price is beyond the worth of instant holiday motif.

Used these lights to hang over a hammock outside. They look good at night and they have been durable. They have been outside during several summer rainstorms with no problem and have continued to work just fine. You have to get within about 5-6 feet for the remote to work, which is not a major issue but wanted to point that out.

The string lights work great. I love the different styles of flashing you can choose from. However, these lights are not very bright. The string itself is slim, not like the usual rope lights found in Walmart.This was purchased for work to help light up our tent during an music festival. I had to purchase others to help because these didn’t do the trick itself.
