I like the book--I bought an old/used copy but it looks like a brand new book. "Maurice Sendak: A Celebration of the Artist and His Work" is very good book. I've learned a lot of his work, his style.

What can one say? Maurice's work is timeless and full of joy, this volume attempts to capture the sensitive and reclusive artists many works and it succeeds nicely, its a satisfying book that you will enjoy for years to come. Buy with confidence though be warned-you will want to track down the complete books once you see the art!

This over-sized book is filled with a multitude of Sendak's illustrations from his books, operas, posters, and many other works. It's a treasure trove for adult Sendak fans. Sometimes it seems as perhaps there's too much here, but that is also part of the book's charm. Thoughtful essays. Based on a recent exhibit.

BEAUTIFUL book!

This is an extraordinary collection and tribute to Sendak. Not only does it have a wide variety of his art work, but it covers a life I knew so little about. I look forward to sharing it with my grandchildren.

Éste no es un libro para niños (a no ser que tu niño sea un friki o “un máquina”), sino para los padres a los que les encanten el mundo de Sendak. Libro divulgativo, lleno de bocetos, de ilustraciones....del estilo de los libros “The art of...”. Es grande, papel adecuado, ilustraciones maravillosas ( para los que nos gusta Sendak).. Libro perfecto para regalar o regalarse.. No defraudará. En inglés.Espero que haya sido útil mi valoración.
