Keep making this style
This is the ONLY round post fence insulator that works over and over and over again, without breaking. It also does not allow an object to hit the fence without 'giving'...thus, the insulators works longer and better. This is an excellent piece for fences that need to be relocated on range land. The 'newer' model is not as durable and very difficult to open. The 'newer model' has two clips on either side of the opening and they break frequently.

Haven't used these yet, but have used other brands. This design does not clamp the tape tight, which I prefer for some applications.

These are not as pictured. They are actually made to slide down a small dowel or thin post. Don't be fooled.
