Condor Tactical Cap (Coyote Brown)

This cap is great, very rarely do caps fit my head this well! the front logo is made of velcro, so you can add a patch if you want. theres also a thin long strip of velcro on the back, for a longer patch, such as a name tag or blood type patch. Color is accurate to coyote brown, even if the picture shows it a little off. The that seems well made and fits nicely. It didn't come all crushed because it was delivered in a small box which I appreciated. I will say however that the velcro tape on the back of the hat is actually 5 in long and not 4 in. Even with that I am happy with the hat.

With this hat and some kickass patches, of course!These things are great. I typically get ~ 5 years out of each one and wear them on the daily. The first part that wears is the front of the bill from being handled the most, but then you can trim it up and sell it. I sold my last frayed one to some zoomer at the bar for $30. Paid for the new hat AND another patch! Winner winner chicken dinner!Be advised, they will shrink slightly in the wash(more if machine dried) and the brass strap adjustment holder thingy will corrode if it gets wet often/sweaty

So I like these Condor hats as they fit great and have velcro patches in the right places for my moral patch applications or important naming / labeling. I have a habit of using my hat to swat at mosquitos in the summer time. I've done this for years. If you didn't know, if you wave around a hat or towel or something violently for a few seconds in your immediate personal space, the mosquitos sense this and will leave you alone for about 3 minutes. As a habit I do this a LOT around the camp fire or working outside and yes, people think I'm ridiculous, don't judge, it works. Anyhow, I had a new Condor cap on, about a week old, and flailing around, the rear velcro sizing band at the rear of the cap, just tore right out of the stitching. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the stitching was really very narrow on both ends of the sizing band and used super thin thread. I repaired it with heavy duty thread, hand sewn and the cap is as good as new. I used ranger sage green thread because...tactical. Swat at your own risk. You have been warned. - Bolt.

Velcro in some decent spots. Materials feel decent for the price. Build quality seems solid. Overall it is a good hat.

I have several of these in different colors, but only one of each color. They are made well and last a long time.

A very well fitted and stitched operate cap from Condor! Color (in my case- coyote brown) is true to color. This Condor is outfitted with the new Velcro back strap vs the older buckle type. I’ve owned many Velcro backed straps and prefer that style better- perfect sizing and durability.PLEASE BE AWARE- front patch panel is for 2 by 3 patches and not standard 3 by 5. However, I found some very attractive IR panels that look better than some of the 3 by 5 flags I’ve found.I feel anyone wanting this cap will not be let down!

I had for years since 2019 the older model which they don’t sell anymore and mine was falling apart after being on so many jobs so when I found this hat at first didn’t like it then it grew on me and it’s my very day hat don’t wear to work I have other hat I wear. But condor have been part of my life since 2016 I have a vest backpack now two of their hats and plan on upgrading the back pack or vest soon. Thanks condor for making good quality and affordable products.
