Great value for office work
This is the second refurbished computer I have purchased through Amazon. The last was three and a half years ago and this one is a great improvement, especially with the solid state hard drive and much better processor. But I paid about the same. The mouse and keyboard that came with it are about as cheap as you can get, but they sufficed for setting up the computer and transferring files from my old computer. I moved my better keyboard and mouse to the new unit after setting up. It came with a USB wireless connector which worked fine for setting up, then I went ethernet when I was finished getting it ready. It accepted the ethernet automatically, and I plugged in my USB printer and it worked without any extra effort. I should have checked closer on the monitor connections, this one uses DisplayPort (it does say this in the description online but I missed it), I was expecting HDMI. But getting an adapter took care of it. The instructions are very limited but if you have any computer setup savvy it shouldn't be difficult. The silent SSHD is nice, and all my programs run quite fast. Since I am not playing any sophisticated video games, I don't know how well this would work, but for a home office computer it is a great machine.

Stop working totally in one year and a half
This computer stopped working after a year and 6 months I bought it in 2023 April and it stopped working in September 2024 thank goodness I had a warranty on it from Asurion because it was out of warranty from Amazon so I couldn't return it. I called Dell and they said it was out of warranty with them. They said the computer was too old. So you should definitely check how old this computer is before you buy it. Also you have to use the DVI DisplayPort to connect a VGA monitor .and most monitors have a VGA display port connection. The VGA port on this computer does not work to hook up a monitor. It's not active it doesn't work it's just dormant. And the DVI / VGA adapter would not fit securely in the DVI port on the back of the computer. I was very disappointed because I only had the computer a year and a half and it stopped working. When you talk to the seller of this computer they can't do nothing to help you. If you buy this computer it's best to get a warranty if it's offered with the purchase , because if it stops working you're totally out of your money.

Great Computer for the Price...
Although there was a small hiccup when the computer arrived (had to purchase a DVI to VGA adapter), once the adapter arrived, everything works as advertised. Came with Windows 10 Pro installed, but since I don't trust Windows, Google, or Apple with a toothpick, I wiped Windows off the hard drive and replaced it with Linux. Even with it's outdated i7 processor, the 32GB of RAM and 1TB SSD handles everything I've thrown at it so far, including full blown audio production (Steinberg Cubase 12 Pro) and video editing (Open Shot, ShotCut, & Vidiot). It's small form factor is convenient for those who like to keep things neat and tidy. Boot time is quick, averaging about 8 seconds from Power press to login. Comes with the power cord, keyboard, mouse, wifi & Bluetooth adapters, as well as an HDMI to Display Port adapter. Seller's contact information is also included and customer service is very responsive and helpful. Overall, this was a great experience and I recommend this computer and/or seller. Buy with confidence. Just be sure to purchase a DVI to VGA adapter before you checkout...just in case.

Works good but had to update graphics card driver
I do video editing using Davinci Resolve and my old computer just wasn't able to quite handle it smoothly so I purchased this one. I knew I was taking a chance - while the specs on paper were better, buying refurbished felt like a gamble, and this PC is several years old at this point. Experts would have told me to get a new PC with better specs I'm sure, but I was willing to take a chance at this price. I didn't want to have to pay around $1,000 for a good PC if I could avoid it.I had an initial hiccup - Davinci Resolve kept crashing within minutes of me opening it up and trying to do something. It seemed strange because it loaded a lot quicker and seemed to have much better handling than my old PC before crashing. It went from seemingly great to dead in an instant - not like it was struggling to begin with.I almost gave up and was considering returning the PC, but I decided to try updating the graphics card driver. When I went through the device settings, it told me I already had the most up to date driver. But I went online and downloaded the driver software and ran it anyway, and it looks like there was actually a newer version of it. Thankfully, this seems to have fixed the issue. I tested it out a bit and did a render without issue. I suggest everyone do this if you're getting this PC. See what the graphics card is under device manager, search online for the most up to date driver (preferably from the manufacturer's own website and a third party website) to make sure it's up to date and you have no issues.

Love it!
My high performance HP Pro Book OS failed after 12 years, and all my backup operating systems had problems of one sort or other trying to reload it; so it was time to replace it with a new OS and cheaper just to buy a refurbished PC that came with its own OS. My needs have changed since I retired from intense programming to office applications. For me, getting this refurbished Certified Dell Optiplex 9010 was a great alternative to buying an expensive new leading edge computer for big bucks. It is a relatively good performance computer for my basically light office and internet needs (spreadsheets, email, surfing web sites, Amazon, etc.). Was relatively easy to set up per sellers procedures.I have had it about a year now, it has held up great and has, in my estimation, already given back more than the low price I paid for it. Glad I didn't pay 3 times as much for a comparable new PC.
