Greenes Fence 4 Ft. Garden and Sign Post Stakes (75 Pack)

Ordered for staking vegetable plants in the garden. No complaints. The finish is adequate though not perfectly smooth. Gloves will help the user avoid splinters.

Would go with 6 ft next time,on third season, have held up really well

they did not last one season. they break and are so light in weight. this is not made out of wood. don't waste your money!!

I use these to hold up chicken wire as a garden fence. They have lasted well for this season with minimal nicks or knots.

In my project these stakes will match the motif begun on floor moulding in a garage/meeting hall. In that section, 1/2" garden stakes were cut then pressure-glued in decorative groups every 6' to fit between 6' lengths of floor moulding which have 90 degree end cuts. These Green Fence pieces will repeat this motif on the horizontal ceiling trusses as I cover the 2x4s with used redwood reclaimed fence wood. I will leave spaces, covered with black plastic, between the vertical planks. Then the 3/4" stakes will be cut in 5-6" pieces, pressure glued in decorative vertical and fitted between the irregular lengths of old fence wood. These are just for decoration to enhance the tin tile ceiling I placed to sort of fire-proof the inside the top trusses of the ceiling.

Strong! Priced similarly to Lowes. Better quality than Lowes. It takes some effort to get them out of the rock hard stuff they call soil here in the summer, but if you moisten the dirt a bit and rock the stake back and forth well, you can pull it out intact with a little effort. Some broke below the ground level, but eh! Why worry about it? It will decompose and I still have the majority of the stake to reuse. I might have to put a point on it again to make it easy to pound in again, but I have a big pencil sharpener! (ha) Good product! I recommend.

Product is good. Delivered by FedEx and delivered to wrong address and left in the drive way. If I knew it was coming by FedEx I would not have ordered.

For being a glorified stick, they are great quality, packaged well, came nice and straight, free of knots, hammered into the ground well, withstood the hammering as good as could be expected!!!
