I am a non-professional woodworker and I have built furniture starting with a tree - milled the lumber, air-dried it for years, cut to size, and then worked with machines and hand tools into furniture. So honestly, yeah, I'm a little picky with buying mass-produced furniture; especially flat-pack stuff that you assemble with screws. And I have assembled a LOT of furniture over the years.I have to say, I am honestly impressed with this bed frame - especially at this price point! It's made of actual solid wood, and seems to be quite well-made. It went together very easily and quickly and it's solid and sturdy. And we really like how it looks - very clean, minimalist lines.I don't normally bother to go out of my way to write a review unless something is surprisingly good or terrible. I honestly was pleased with this bed, and I would buy another if I need one.

I ordered this bed as I needed an attractive but minimalistic option for a smaller room. I have my own house but sometimes stay with my partner, so I wanted an option that wouldn't be super heavy or difficult to disassemble in the future if needed. This fit the bill: attractive, lightweight, and easy to assemble/disassemble with only the allen key and hardware it comes with.The bed was well packaged. Shipping was going to take longer than I thought, but then the delivery date was moved up by two weeks, which was nice. It was left on the porch in a large but easy to move slender box. It took me an hour and a half to assemble by myself.I was nervous about potentially receiving a damaged or missing piece, but everything arrived perfectly. I will likely order another one in the future and hope I will have the same outcome.The only (bonus) thing I haven't been able to test yet is if I can fit the disassembled pieces into my sedan. I guess it's a good thing that I haven't HAD to try doing that yet, but I am curious about it. Most pieces would fit, but I'm not sure if the side connectors would be too long.

I ordered this bed for my guest bedroom and I am very happy with it. My house has a mid-century vibe to it and I like the simpl lines of this bed. I was able to put the bed together by myself in about an hour. They gave you a nice little tool to help with the tightening of the bolts. The bed is very solid and does not creak. I am delighted with this purchase

This is a fantastic, solid wood bed frame (I think? It definitely seems solid) that was easy to put together, is stylish, and fit shorter mattresses well. If your mattress is taller than 15" it might look weird with the headboard disappearing but will still be a functional bedframe. It's definitely sturdy and I feel like it'll hold up well for many years.

This is a beautiful bed frame that with 2 of us, was very easy to put together. We got it done in under an hour. The ONLY reason for the 4-star was that the directions that came with it were mismarked. The directions had all the pieces marked A, B, C, etc. yet all the pieces were marked 1, 2, 3, etc, and did not correspond to the ABC. Thankfully I'm an IKEA girl and can follow pictures well. We only had one issue and of course, the very first piece we connected we found out at the very end was upside down so we had to dismantle part of the bed and re-do it. Besides that, the bed is very sturdy and does not creak. The height is comfortable to sit on. The color is on the orange-yellow side. Seems like it will hold up for a very long time.

Awesome bed - super study like the other reviews said. Real wood so there’s no cracking sounds or creaking (which I was worried about with a king size bed). It looks great, a timeless style and super simple. Highly recommend!

Solid construction, thoughtful engineering, straightforward assembly. It's a quality piece. Velcro on slats prevents them from sliding. Quiet and solid. Ordered for a small guest room and appreciate the sleek mid-century styling. We've matched it with some 30-plus-year-old light oak furniture that was feeling pretty dated, but the bed has given new life to those old pieces.

I needed to quickly get a bed that I could set up on the main floor of our house to sleep alongside our dog that recently had leg surgery and can't do stairs. However, even thought the setup might be temporary, I didn't want to sacrifice style or quality. I saw that this was solid wood and guaranteed to arrive within two days so I decided to give it a try. The bed came packaged very compactly and I was able to assemble it within an hour. As others mention, the foam is packaged within plastic which is a nice touch to prevent packaging debris all over your house. After assembling, I put felt sliders underneath each leg so I can easily slide the bed around if needed for cleaning underneath. The only potential negative for some folks might be that the headboard is fairly short if you have a super thick mattress (mine is 14.25") but I don't mind it at all. Overall excellent buy and I'd highly recommend. Will use for an upstairs guest bedroom once my pup is able to do stairs again.
