Absolutely love these little Levoit air cleaners. They are small enough to put almost anywhere yet have a large filter element that removes cat hair (from our 3 cats), dust, and dander at 3-speeds and with low noise! I have a black model for the office and a white model for the bedroom. I fashioned a makeshift duct for the top that funnels a stream of pure clean air towards my face while I work or sleep. Makes a big difference when you have allergies!BTW...I mean it when I say makeshift. The first "duct" was made in the middle of the night with a paper towel and painters tape. It works great and provided instant relief from my cats sleeping on the bed. Makes me feel like I'm in a clean air cloud. The second, much more sophisticated duct was made from a piece of paper. The duct just makes using a small air filter practical as long as you stay within the clean air cloud.Hey Levoit, this might make a nice option...hint hint..

Everyone and their mother has been on here eulogizing about these air purifiers so if you’re still reading reviews and have made it this far without pulling the trigger I’m not sure what could make you at this point.. but I do want to share a benefit I have experienced with this that no one mentioned and I wasn’t expecting: apparently for my whole life everywhere I’ve ever slept I end up with my nose stuffed and breathing out of my mouth at night because of it, leading to some snoring, general poor sleep quality, and a host of other terrifying dental consequences you should not Google if you currently are enjoying having a handle on your anxiety.I had NO IDEA how much I was mouth breathing all night, until I put this next to my bed and suddenly STOPPED. I didn’t need nasal strips, I didn’t need surgery, I didn’t need allergy medication and I didn’t need mouth tape. I needed my nose to not get BLOCKED every time I was horizontal for a few hours.Guys, the way my quality of sleep as SKYROCKETED. My Fitbit is giving me awards every day. I don’t wake up with a headache after sleeping for a long time anymore, which I always accepted as a normal fact about myself, but now I know was a consequence of too little oxygen for too long.Honestly I bought this hoping it might improve the air in my apartment in the cold months when I can’t air it out by opening the windows, and I was hoping it might also improve some of the kinds of smells that linger by association, and it did, but not how I expected. You’ll just have to do your best to imagine the difference in the air quality in a room someone was mouth breathing in for 8 hours with the door closed… before and after…. All I can say is the level of carbon dioxide expelled would be extreme 😭.So ultimately this thing not only cleared the air, it prevented me from making it worse every night.One more time: I wake up with both nostrils CLEAR every single morning. This has never happened in my life.When I walk in to the room where it’s been on there’s a tangible change in the feeling on my skin- it physically feels less heavy and thick, the literal particles filtered out.I’ve had it for 3 months and have not had to change the filter yet.I don’t know if it will help you the way it has helped me with this, the fact that I haven’t seen anyone talking about it makes it seem like maybe this isn’t a common experience, but i had to share because this has revolutionized my sleep more than almost anything else I’ve done and I have tried just about everything short of a cpap machine. If I turn it off for even a single night the stuffy nose comes back that same night. I’m blown away.It’s worth its weight in gold to me and if I could afford to I’d put one in every room. As soon as I come up with the savings I will do it.The only regret I have is that due to not knowing for sure if it would work, I didn’t spring for the biggest nicest one. If I could go back in time and talk to myself I would get the version with a higher capacity. For $35 I couldn’t be more impressed.I wish it did more on its lower settings, but again, that could have been helped if I had gone with the bigger one.The noise as other commenters have said is actually not a bother it is honestly more a sleep aid in its white noise generation. I turn it off for zoom calls and that’s all, then turn it right back on after.It’s also quite cooling, like you’d expect from a fan, because it is circulating air at a high efficiency, it can be chilly to sit right next to but I run cold in general.I hope this helps someone!

Seems to be working well. The filter catches dust thereby not letting it get back into the air. Disappointed in the amount of scent that is released into the room. It is present, but barely. Easy to use and clean. Quiet.

I have had this air filter purifier for several months now because I wanted to be able to rate it after using it a while. I am very satisfied with it. It has done a great job at keeping the dust level much much lower than it was and it's features are great. It has three speeds and even on high it is not loud as to be disturbing. If you're like me and enjoy a bit of "gray noise" to help you sleep; this is a perfect solution for that as well. It is very high quality; well-built and has many features that much more expensive ones have; including a timer and indicator when you should change the filter. If anything were to happen to this… I would definitely buy the same one again, immediately.

I was skeptical if this was going to help with allergies from dust. I have pleasantly surprised. Works great! I haven't sneezed in weeks, it really does work. Im actually going to buy another one for bedroom. Easy to clean, nice and compact. Ideal for any size home
