Honestly, I’ve always found it difficult to stick to a regular flossing routine, but this dental floss has made it much easier for me to keep my teeth clean.Why I Recommend It:1. Perfect! Not too thick and the price was right!

Looks to be the same China supplier of generic floss as a certain Big Box store. Identical in floss width/length with identical container design/color and size, though priced about 16% less (at the time of my purchase). The floss is the flat ribbon-style, similar to the Glide brand but maybe half as wide.-The benefit of the ribbon-style floss is that it most easily fits between tight teeth, superior to the string-style floss, and far superior to the thick yarn-style floss.-The container has a built-in floss cutter which sometimes shreds the floss instead of giving a clean snap/cut. Doing an intentional quick snap of the floss against the cutter makes for a clean cut. A slow pull and drag across the cutter will shred the floss.-The floss material is similar to or actually is Teflon, which is a non-stick material. Because of the that and that the floss is not very wide, is thin, it tends to be slippery to hold on to, and requires some length to be wound around each of the two fingers you use for flossing.-The mint flavor, based on a couple of floss lengths of the first container I had opened and tried-out, was only about 1/3 as minty as the Big Box generic brand.Overall, a great alternative to Glide brand, and a slightly better deal than the Big Box generic brand. And though not as minty as the Big Box generic, it still is a good floss.

This floss from Amazon Basics is the ideal replacement for the discontinued Original Glide.Years ago, Oral B (owned by Gillette) bought out Glide floss from the original manufacturers, and for many years I could count on getting this same great floss which Oral B called “Original Glide”. It was the first floss made with Gore Tex (PTFE) and it was the smoothest floss to get between the teeth. Alas, this original product is now discontinued, and has been replaced by a cheap inferior filament floss called “Healthy Gums”…with the word “Glide” now in small letters. This Oral B replacement for the Original Floss not only does NOT glide between the teeth, it sticks and pulls and leads you to worry that it might actually pull out a tooth. Plus, it curls up like a Christmas tree decoration so it’s hard to even maneuver. Fortunately, Amazon Basics makes this wonderful PTFE floss. It’s the best floss you can get nowadays. Doesn’t curl up. Super comfortable sliding between the teeth. Highly recommended. My new staple for daily tooth care.

This product came to me defective and would not work. It was tangled around on the inside and was unable to even dispense it. It is cheap and unreliable product. Do not waste your money and time. I was going to not give a bad review, but I had to ship it back using my own poly bag print my own label and drive to a drop off location. I could not have it picked up because I work and an adult has to be present in the instruction for return. What a complete hassle for dental floss. I would spend more and get a better-quality product. Hindsight is 20-20
