Wiha2831T16 slimVario Starter Set, Red/Yellow, (WHA-36068)

Already had a set of these for years, and bought these to have another set in the van. Like all Wiha tools, this is top quality and well designed. Does the job perfectly.If I had to nitpick I preferred the material used in the earlier pouch.

I've used these for years, I wear screwdrivers out at a rate of a year per set usually, but these last two years! I don't think I'll ever change now!

Really good piece off kit, nice and compact, use it for when I am testing and don’t need shed loads of kit.👍

I like the slim screwdriver bits, as they are ideal for more precise applications such as assembly of components. I also wanted a compact set to go into my fault finding kit and this meets the requirement.I cannot comment about Wera's equivalent as I've not used their version, but chose the Wiha in preferance to Wera based on using Wera's standard VDE screwdriver and found that I prefer Wiha's more traditional handle.I suspect that Wera's version will be more robust, as the Wiha bits are not particularly big/chunky - but that suits me just fine as they are ideal for what I use them for.The case is of a decent quality and works great for keeping everything together.I'm not impressed with the voltage detector pen included with the set, which I've now discarded and replaced with a CK Voltage Detector. I haven't deducted stars for the voltage detector though, simply because I didn't buy the set to obtain a detector pen - I bought a screwdriver set, but I would urge Wiha to consider removing the pen from future shipments and possibly drop the price by a couple of quid.I enjoy the mechanism used to secure the bits to the handle, as I found the mechanism doubles as a spinner making it quicker to turn machine threaded screws. The locking mechanism can be unlocked too easily in my opinion, which is the main reason I've deducted a star.

love that one guy does many things and protects you from a shock,. only the old roll pouch is better, so i transferred the replacement bits (which I'm sure one day everyone loses to a grill or lift shaft)and my lost/found handle to that and now i got 2 guys which are super useful if you have a bigger job with 2 different screws. a must for light spark gigs

I absolutely love Wiha, so comfortable and strong, especially great for panel wiring. Just perfect.

This product seems not to be built for the job it is manufactured for I bought this on the 3rd of September and have hardly used it and the mechanism that holds the attachment in has fallen apart , I would suggest if you are going to sit this product go with a different brand.

Seen these on youtube and thought i would try them out. Very high standard.
