Great Starter Kit for a New Turtle Owner!
I recently got this turtle habitat starter kit and I’m really happy with it! It came with everything I needed to set up a comfortable home for my new turtle perfect for beginners like me.The 20-gallon tank is a good size for a young turtle and looks great. It’s sturdy and easy to clean. The included water filter does a decent job of keeping the water clean, though I might upgrade later as my turtle grows. The decorative pieces and basking rock were a nice touch they made the habitat look natural and gave my turtle some fun spots to explore and climb on.It also came with turtle food, water conditioner, and even both lamps one for heat and one for UVB, which is so important for their health. I appreciated that everything was included in one kit so I didn’t have to guess what I needed to buy separately.Overall, this is an excellent all-in-one setup for anyone just getting started. It has the essentials and gives you a solid foundation to build on as your turtle grows. Definitely recommend!

Great setup, especially for new turtle owner.
The aquarium kit arrived late Tuesday and I set it up Wednesday morning. My baby eastern painted turtle arrived late Wednesday afternoon. The kit is perfect for new turtle owners, as it comes equipped with everything you need to get started; plus a couple small samples of freeze-dried food. My little guy didn't seem too interested in eating, but once I put a couple of the sample blood worms near him, he seemed to really like them. My kit came with 2 of the large lamps instead of one large and one small, but I don't think it's a problem. We keep our house pretty warm, so the water temperature stays consistent. Little Raphael loves basking under the lamps on his platform area. Yes - named after a Ninja Turtle - and it seems fitting as Raphael is the fighter and quick to action. I have caught little Raph having a couple zoomies, swimming like a crazy turtle all around his aquarium. I did buy a water heater to use in the winter when it gets colder out and inside.I would highly recommend this setup.

Morla loves her new crib
Thankfully the tank made it to me in perfect condition! The directions made set up clear and easy. As a new turtle owner I appreciate that this kit comes with everything I need as I continue to educate myself on all things turtle care. Morla is 2 1/2 inches long and this tank seems to be a perfect size for her until she grows out of it. I did notice that her water got a bit cloudy by the 3rd or 4th day (I'm guessing from the river rock dirt leftover after rinsing, food, and turtle poops) so I did grab a biological turtle habitat cleaner which has helped a bunch with clearing up cloudy water. I'm a newbie when it comes to filter performance and I've seen others say the filter the kit comes with sucks. I've been testing her water quality regularly and everything is staying in safe ranges so I'm thinking it's doing it's job. In conclusion I definitely recommend this kit if you're a new owner with a small turtle!

Pretty Good
Shipped safely, which was my main worry. Everything was packaged well. The waterfall filter works well and looks nice. The light bulb burnt out after only 3 weeks which was annoying. I don't like how difficult it is to open the lid with the two separate lights sitting on it, but it works.

This is a great starter tank for turtles!
You will need to buy a water heater!!!!!!Has both UVB and heat lamps. This 20 gallon is perfect for hatching's, everything that comes with the tank is sized for keeping the water shallow. The basking platform is a solid piece that sits on the bottom of the tank. The filter is designed to look like a rock and water pours from the top of it like a waterfall. It's very quiet, You barley notice it's running. The water filter uses a medium sized charcoal filters, which should be pretty easy to find. Also the kit comes with plastic duckweed, but you really need some kind of rock/gravel to keep it from floating to the top of the water. This set does NOT come with any rock/gravel so you'd need to buy your own. For anyone new to turtles, do NOT use regular fish gravel in your aquarium for your turtle. It's small and your turtles will eat it!!! They need larger rocks that they can't get into their mouth. Each of the lights that come with this set also come with bulbs. The bulbs are packaged in little boxes separate from the fixtures so they don't get damaged . Turtles need both a heat lamp and a UVB light. Without the UVB light turtles suffer from diseases! They need the heat lamp to warm up/bask under it when they get out of the water. The lid is metal, So the included lights sit right on top of it. The lid is a locking design, so if you happen to have pets who try to get in (or out) of the tank, the lid can be locked.

Almost Perfect.
The media could not be loaded. My little rescue red eared slider LOVES her new home. It comes with everything you need. I did add more river rock to her tank and a small heater. She takes advantage of the bridge and likes to hide in the grass. It took her a couple of days to find her way around. She is still very small. I'm sure this tank will accommodate her needs for several years. The tank is very heavy. Make sure you place it is a good spot before filling it. Wash the rocks well before placing in the tank. The one draw back is the way the lights sit on the lid. When I have more time I plan to invest on buying different stands to hold the lights. Puddin, enjoys one half of a small shredded carrot once in a while. I also spoil her a bit and give her dried shrimp and fresh baby kale. The lid does prevent over feeding. lolI've seen reviews about bulbs burning our quickly. I haven't had this problem. I would definitely suggest shutting the lights off by their switches and not simply unplugging them. My Puddin has learned to bask. Both lights are important to keep her healthy.I wish I had purchased this product soon. It is a very heavy delivery. I needed help to bring it in. The box comes extra filters and a waterfall filtration system. Enjoy.
