To preface this review: I’m what you would call an energy drink “connoisseur”. This is because I’ve been drinking them out of necessity. They replaced coffee or any other source of caffeine for me.I’ve tried almost every one of them out there, from preworkout blends in a can (even the spicy ones), all the way to powders in a shaker.Gorilla mind is so much better than all of these, I’m actually convinced there’s something in it that is making it addictive. If you’re looking for the PERFECT balance of energy and focus… I’ve got news for you this is the one. This drink is legitimately so perfectly balanced in its delivery that other brands are put to shame just looking at it.THE ONLY THING I WOULD CHANGE: The sweetener is artificial (acesulfame potassium) and also sucralose. I would change these to something that isn’t potentially carcinogenic. Like for example: Monkfruit Extract.I’ve also come to understand that timing is just as important as the blend. This is the best energy drink on the market… and I’ve had quite a number of them. I know that it’s hard to tell which energy drink is best, based on the reviews, because they all say, “great energy, no crash, no jitters, no sugar, etc.” but this one is the best. My dad, who doesn’t drink energy drinks, had one at dinner time (against my advice) and couldn’t sleep. he said the next morning. “I can see what you mean, that it’s a clean energy. I wasn’t jittery, anxious, nor hyper… I was just up.”This is also a nootropic drink (it’s good for your brain). I have nothing to compare it with, but I’ll say that the effects are obvious, and really good for me.the mango-peach is the only flavor I’ve had, and if you like candied fruit, this is amazing.I truly want this energy drink to succeed, because the calm feeling of focus is on another level. Would be great for college students.If I had one request to gorilla mind, it would be to please make a sugar free coffee flavor. I love the monster coffee flavors, but I’m sensitive to sugar. It makes me break out in a red rash and peel all over my face and scalp.

I would give 5 stars except half of my cans on the drinking end are dented. Its monday morning and im wearing exotic kiwi bc the cans dented ontop and ut wont pour out right. Otherwise its a good drink, great energy. Little pricy but its better than giving your money to keurig (ghost)

The taste is fantastic but I'm more impressed with the boost in energy. It gets me through the day off half the can most of the time without the crash I usually get from redbull and monster. This is my new preferred energy drink, although the wild grape still tastes the best

As you may see from many other reviews, many of these are coming dented at the top. For me, I was able to drink most of them fine but a lot of them I needed to use something to jam in to actually open the can because the tab was bent in a weird way. I've tried most of the flavors and I would say the best ones are Exotic Kiwi, Tigers Blood, and Lucky Lemon. The first black cherry vanilla I tried I thought it was really good and tasted like a cherry coke, but then every single time I had one after that it tasted way more "energy drink" y and not much like that original flavor. I don't know if this was an error or just me getting more used to it. I gave a black cherry vanilla to my friends and one of them thought it was really bad, the other one said he couldn't really see himself drinking it willingly, and one said it was okay. So I definitely wouldn't buy the black cherry vanilla flavor. Exotic kiwi is really good, Bombsicle can be a bit sweet but I personally like it a lot, Orange Rush tastes really good - a lot like fanta, I had a few cans of tropic storm that I enjoyed but for some reason there seemed to be an inconsistency in how they tasted and it could be a bit bitter and/or too sweet so I'm not sure I would recommend a whole case of those.As far as efficacy goes, I think maybe I'm just not that massive on caffeine, but I think some people are blowing it out of proportion how effective this is. I do really appreciate Derek from Gorillamind's work and the ingredients are certainly dosed well. However, the efficacy of this drink especially for the ridiculous price, doesn't really do it for me. I don't have a huge caffeine tolerance but I am used to drinking 200 miligrams of caffeine from their preworkout Gorilla Mode. Yes, I personally would get the jitters a little bit sometimes and feel a bit overstimulated but I am used to that from energy drinks and its not really a problem for me. It definitely made me feel wired, but it really didn't make me feel too different than just using caffeine. I would recommend that you try to get one from vitaminshoppe individually before so you can see how you feel about them before spending 36 dollars for a case.

When I received the package the Amazon Box had no damage and was not misshapened. However out of 12 drinks 7 were so damaged that the bottoms were bubbled out an can not stand upright without falling. 4 of those 7 as well as 3 of the remaining 5 cans has bent tops.I've never had this problem from this product before but was annoyed because I like to drink these on the way to and at the gym and I can't do that if the drink can't stand upright.Taste was good though.

First order was damaged and sent back. Second order was delivered sticky and one popped open. I just cleaned and kept them. It's a hard product to ship. Tastes amazing, love them!
