This is a foam filter and does the job of filtering out large dust particles. Works well with the V13 in cooling my laptop, make sure that you don't block exhaust vent on laptop otherwise system just recirculates hot air. I ordered because I needed extra filtering of "Dust-proof cotton" which I thought from pictures that I was getting.

It is loud but it keeps the laptop cool, even while playing demanding AAA gamesI usually use the minimum setting of 300 RPM, it gets very loud beyond the 800 to 1200 RPM settings.Even with 300 RPM, it cools the laptop easily by about 10-12 degrees Celsius while gaming; the higher settings will really cool the laptop even further (20 degrees Celsius drops or more).At 300 RPM, it is somewhat quiet.It comes with a good filter, and it includes padding for the laptop to sit on. This ensures all the air intake goes through the filter, keeping the laptop cool.

Been looking for a replacement dust cover for my product and this is awesome. Now I know I can replace the filter filters and my cooler for my laptop. Thank you.

This is worth every penny. Keeps your fans cleaner. Lower temps are a big plus. Superb cooling. Noise level not bad for what it does.
